I have to sign off, and I wanted to leave with something beautiful, and then something intense. These from late 60s-early 70s English bands.

First the pretty, soft and beautiful:

And, next the nasty, loud and BRILLIANT (their first album was ground-breaking):

"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." - Bertrand Russell

"They must know how to kindle and fan an extravagent hope". - Eric Hoffer about the "true believer". "Total Freedom", "your eternity", and "OT" involve a few of the extravagant hopes in Scientology.

    Duh-ope.

Well, I got a copy ready too. Mine is scarier.

I couldn't help it. After my O/W writeup and all that therapy er, fanfuckingtastic music took me into space and back I had burned so much B1 that my poor brain is acting like the ESMB server was last night.

    Really.

And now I must go for the night - luv y'all and you, Gad, why you've just created the best thread possibly ever.

    I'll leave y'all with this:

Actually, it isn't kind to leave anyone with Schizoid before they go to sleep!

So, here is one more "pretty and gentle" from Greg Lake of ELP.

There was nothing like smokin' a big fatty (Thai Sticks) and then listening to Emerson, Lake and Palmer!!!!

It pisses me off in retrospect - I stopped smoking pot because of Scientology - them FUCKERS!

Note: Not to worry - THAT has been totally rectified!!!!!

Ah, fuck it, ONE MORE, and then I am going to bed . . .

What a song! What a voice! Get up off the couch and wiggle it!

Hey, ever hear of "Cold Blood" with Lydia Pence?????? Another day . . another day.

That Kiki Dee tune sort of reminds me of this GREAT ONE by Rod Stewart and the Faces - BOOGIE TIME!

Man, the way it gets quiet in the middle, then Rod hums a few bars, the piano comes in, and it takes off and explodes. Then they do it AGAIN! The drummer is going crazy!
