I was a nanny in the Sea Org because I was only 18 and my superior told her superior that I was bull-headed and she didn't know what to do with me. I think they sent a lot of people like that do do the "nanny hat". I did get some valuable information about toddlers ( I watched toddlers only) and there were lots of adorable toddlers there. I wonder what happened to Vonnie and Marisa, a boy and girl twin set who had beautiful blonde curls. They must be in their late 30s now. If they are here somewhere, please contact me.I loved them and felt bad later that they were being helplessly raised in the Sea Org. I hope Katie Holmes gets full custody of Suri because I saw first hand how little Scientology kids see their own parents and how they are regimented and sometimes neglected, but I think the babies and toddlers were mostly treated well, thank goodness. I guess they felt that there was only so much you can teach kids at that age. The parents in Sea Org only see their kids for 1 hour twice a day, the same hour that everyone else was allowed hygiene time, the "hour to shower". I woke up extra early to take a bath because I wanted to take a long one and not have to compete with everyone for everyone to finish in the same hour. The kids Suris age were told they would get a penny for every cockroach they killed because the hotel that Scientology bought for us to live in was cockroach filled. Our Center was clean and modern because we wanted to attract celebrities, and we did, the 70s were very much "anything goes" so Scientology caught a lot of fish then. The celebs and their kids are treated somewhat better but they get all the brainwashing and little Suri is at an impressionable age. I remember I did help watch 4-year-olds once or twice, and I remember an adorable English girl named Diana who must be in her early 40s now. She would only eat toast and nobody tried to alter this unhealthy diet for her. I was a teen myself and didn't know how to have her eat any differently, so I made a lot of toast for her. She had an adoarable accent. I hope she is physically and mentally healthy now. I now onder what kind of lives these kids had after leaving Scientology (if they did) and what their school education was like. Did they go to WOG schools? I never found out. It would be sad if they didn't. I know we had poor medical care. We had a staff woman who had no medical training and if anyone got sick or injured they were "PTS" and received a "touch assist" to cure them. You probably all remember what that is, right?
