Piers Morgan is just not that good of a interviewer, He no Larry King.![]()
Looks like Morgan's producer felt they had to have something about TomKat and made the mistake of booking three people instead of one for a short slot. Hence far too little time for anything useful to be said.
The same day Anderson Cooper interviewed Astra Woodcraft - more time and she was excellent.

Piers Morgan drools over celebs and licks them all over, in public, on his show.
That's how he ensures plenty of big time hollywood celebs to interview and re-interview in the future. He does not have to challenge them. Just having them there will pull in viewers. He uses them to keep ratings up so he is very soft on them. They mutullymasturbatepromote each other by chatting about sugary topics.
So I don't think he wanted to risk offending TC or Katie by getting too gritty. I am sure he'd luuuuuurv to have either of them in the future. He will ask them his usual earth shattering questions like "So Tom.....when was the very first time you fell in love". He used to try to bully celebs into telling him exactly how much money they made while saliva drooled out of his mouth. His producer must have told him how tedious that was becoming because he doesn't do it now. Ocassioanally he does interviews I really like, but he pads his show with crap to be popular.
..
What a waste of good talent . . . and from Piers too!!

Remind me never to go on Piers Morgan's show.
Ugh.
