..
Terrific conversation.
Many things impressed, but perhaps chief amongst them is that they are simply sitting and talking--saying what is on their mind in a truthful and deliberate way.
That doesn't necessarily sound earth-shattering, but when you watch these earnest and intelligent people, my thoughts drifted to "how Scientology would react (past/present) to this disarmingly simple FREE SPEECH. In fact, the cult vehemently despises people's right to speak and will do everything in their dwindling power to stop or illegally terrorize others from giving voice to their ideas if they think they can get away with it.
There they sit, those "International Management Executives" in their slavish cubicles, showing up to work every day with the intent and design to crush human communication.
How's that for a job description? Consider, further, that this is a cult that endlessly brags about its communication technology.
I really like, actually love, watching these two lovely people doing real humanitarian work. Thanks to both!

Scientology in one word? HelluvaHoax!
I never felt as free as when I freed myself from "Total Freedom".
For offended Scientologists reading this blasphemy about L. Ron Hubbard---my apologies for talking about real life without lying to you, like Scientology, with goo-goo theta-talk. I know you don't have a floating needle right now. You're not supposed to.

This was one of the things I first recognized and couldn't stand about "my church", back when I was still involved with the Church of Scientology.
How they claimed to promote and stand for "free speech", but then how they often tried to STOMP ON IT every chance they could get.
I couldn't stand the obvious rampant hypocrisy of Hubbard and his fanatical Scientology organization.![]()

SCIENTOLOGIST
We grew up together and have known each
other for 20 years. Do you mind this one time
if I just speak what is truly in my mind?
STAFF MEMBER
Sure. But only if it's theta.
You know me. I love theta.
SCIENTOLOGIST
Well what if my honest thoughts
are just--my honest thoughts?
STAFF MEMBER
But you're theta. Let's just
keep it theta, okay?
SCIENTOLOGIST
But, what if its not theta?
What if it's about something
that needs to be handled.
STAFF MEMBER
Oh! That's easy. Just write a
Knowledge Report. Use the
right lines.
SCIENTOLOGIST
So, I can't just say what I am
thinking right now?
STAFF MEMBER
Sure you are free to say
anything. As long as it's theta.
SCIENTOLOGIST
But, I can write it if it's not
theta, correct?
STAFF MEMBER
You really shouldn't be writing
things that are not theta either.
SCIENTOLOGIST
So, I actually can't communicate what
I am thinking then. Is that what you're saying?
STAFF MEMBER
Oh not at all. You can say anything you
want in your auditing session.
SCIENTOLOGIST
Even if it's not theta.
STAFF MEMBER
Well, if it's not theta, you should go to the
examiner and get it into your CS.
SCIENTOLOGIST
So that would be okay, if I don't say it to you
and i don't write it but I say it to the examiner.
STAFF MEMBER
Yes, it's perfectly okay to say anything
you want to the examiner.
SCIENTOLOGIST
Wow. So there actually IS someone
I can talk to around here.
STAFF MEMBER
Yes, we're all about freedom to
communicate here!
SCIENTOLOGIST
Well good to know. I'll just be off then
to talk to the examiner now...
STAFF MEMBER
Sure, but you should first go talk to
the registrar and let them know you are
going to say some not-theta things to
the examiner. That way you can get your
new tech estimate for your Bridge to
Total Freedom.

This video is perfect for educating parents on the dangers of scientology. It would do well to be posted on the many Mom blogs and forums across the internet.

To CS: I have witnessed extortion, bribery, criminal behavior in this Church.
CS: Who are you connected to that is rabidly antagonistic towards Scientology?
To CS: Scientology - they are rabidly antagonistic to the "tech"
CS: You need to write up your o/w's and do an amends project, I want you to donate $1,000,000 to the IAS and get some sec checking at your own cost, and get up the Bridge quickly - that will keep you nice and distracted whilst we extract every dime you have! When you are finished - please write up your success story for broad public publish!
To CS: Fuck you - I quit
CS: I hereby denounce you as a Scientologist in good standing - you are a defrocked and bitter appostate, you are an SP that is PTS. You go to the hole!
In life, for the most part, I do act friendly, positive, and encouraging to any person in my space. I don't tend to pass along "entheta", and sure do pay attention to what upsets people (so as to avoid such topics or comments with them). I NEVER intentionally cause upset in others just to "create an effect".
BUT, and this is a big "but", I will not lie and hide the truth "just to be nice" (unless it is about minor things that don't matter in the bigger picture).
This gets so absurd in Scientology that members get to a point where they have internalized all the external control, they actually learn to monitor themselves so as to "check themselves", and thus never pass along ANY negative information abut Hubbard or Scientology - even if it's TRUE!!!
They will hide from, retreat from, and separate themselves form ANY information that disputes their belief system - information that they call "entheta".
See, "entheta" isn't just bad news, negative emotions, invalidation or make-wrong, which ARE sensible to avoid, and within Hubbard's nutty paradigm, "entheta" also very much includes ANYTHING that contradicts Hubbard or Scientology. Scientology STOPS people from looking in a great many directions. It blocks honest observation. Such behavior cannot possibly be part of any "Road to Truth".
For a group that purports to care about "confronting what is", "honesty", "observation" and "communciation", this is SO ABSURD.
Plus, if one had gotten any degree of elevated "confront" from participating with Scientology, wouldn't one be able to EASILY "handle" ANY type of communciation, whether "entheta" or not?
You would think, huh????![]()
What, does one have to be OT 365 to get THAT ability?
STUPID!!!!![]()
