In what ways are SCNs encouraged to earn money or donate money to the organization?
For those who haven't seen my earlier posts, I am an outsider. Not an ex-member. However I'm interested in further understanding this "religion" and the reasons people left. One question I have is to what extent the organization promotes economic pursuits or donations. As an outsider, I hear people casually say it's a money making scheme but I never knew if that's true or to what extent. What is your experience?

There are probably thousands of posts at ESMB detailing money-grabbing practices of the cult.
Try Google, searching "site:exscn.net" along with words like "bankruptcy," "second mortgage," "donations," "IAS," "reg*" (for registrar, registration, regging etc) and so on.

Gee, I just don't know what to say. I was never in that cult, was I?
I've been to events where duty and the sense of honor were sold wholesale and people would be inspired to run up on the stage, front and center, and link arms with the other very special ones who were standing up and dedicating themselves to staff. Many could hardly sit still in their seat. A real push-pull kind of thing. Many resisted. Those that didn't soon wished they had.
p.s. it is most definitely a cult.

They would pressure members to give up a kidney if they could get away with it. Obviously they would do that after every other cash source has been exhausted. Google 'The Thriving cult of greed and power'.
