    Press Release: Oklahoma Exporting Death

Is the State of Oklahoma, with its' seemingly "turning a blind eye" attitude, in essence, allowing Narconon Arrowhead to continue training and exporting an "Industry of Death" to other regions in the USA and around the globe?
At 2:46 pm this afternoon, I received a text message confirming another patient at Narconon Arrowhead in Oklahoma has been removed for fear of not being cared for in a professional or safe manner. This follows four client deaths while in this Scientology Rehab center which according to many credible expert physicians in the field of addiction detoxification, the Narconon program is a pseudoscience treatment not scientifically recognized in the current medical literature.
Most notable, Governor Mary Fallin states:

"We've talked now about the health of our economy; it is important that we also turn our attention to the health and welfare of our citizens."

"Studies now rank Oklahoma 46th in the nation for the health of our citizens. That ranking is unacceptable, and comes hand in hand with lost workforce productivity, hundreds of millions of dollars in medical bills, and thousands of preventable deaths."

    David,

Does anyone know what specific events occurred (or didn't occur) that caused the death of this fourth patient, the 20-year-old woman?

I realize there's an investigation ongoing. But have any preliminary findings been released yet?

    Thanks in advance,

    TG1

I grew up close to Oklahoma and had relatives, friends, and many acquaintances there. I can tell you that OK is a very corrupt state. It's probably going to be difficult to get them to take any real action against Narconon because I'm sure that they are throwing money all around and greasing many palms.
