Default Satanic Ron or Operating Thelemic (OT)

I found these on a website with Ron and Al and maybe Jack.

What do you think? Did Ron live according to these precepts?

    The Nine Satanic Statements

    1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence!

    2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams!

    3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit!

    4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates!

    5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!

    6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires!

    7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his "divine spiritual and intellectual development," has become the most vicious animal of all!

    8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!

    9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as He has kept it in business all these years!
I found this fairly interesting...Ron the Sensapien...yacked on and on about physical restraint in order to purify the spirit but behind the scenes had his fingers dipped in many the pie...all about the physical sensations.

I think that Hubbard followed all these principles except for the principle # 3 -- Satan does not represent wisdom, he represents the ultimate stupidity.

    You decide:

"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." - Bertrand Russell

"They must know how to kindle and fan an extravagent hope". - Eric Hoffer about the "true believer". "Total Freedom", "your eternity", and "OT" involve a few of the extravagant hopes in Scientology.

Soderqvist1: Compare Hubbard's definition of Service Facsimile, and anthon Lavey's "psychic Vampire"!

Service Facsimile: that facsimile (an energy picture which can be reviewed again) which the preclear uses to apologize for his failures. In other words, it is used to make others wrong and procure their cooperation in the survival of the preclear. If the preclear well cannot achieve survival, he attempts an illness or disability as a survival computation. The workability and necessity of the service facsimile is only superficially useful. The service facsimile is an action method of withdrawing from a state of beingness to a state of not beingness and is intended to persuade others to coax the individual back into a state of beingness. (From the Scientology Technical Dictionary)
    Not All Vampires Suck Blood
One of the most famous essays from The Satanic Bible, it is here that LaVey coins the term "psychic vampire". LaVey defines a psychic vampire as one who attempts to psychologically manipulate others by systematically playing the victim; for example, a person who constantly uses some minor physical flaw as an excuse for their shortcomings and a means of gaining sympathy and favor from others. LaVey believes that people who use a victim status as a means to induce guilt in others are fundamentally weak, and therefore to be shunned by Satanists. LaVey does not imply that anyone with a flaw is automatically weak, but are psychologically draining (hence the term "psychic vampire") and should be dealt with mercilessly and discarded before they are permitted to take control of the lives of vital individuals. Here's Ron postulating his black magic operation:

We could bring people in off the streets and have them walk down the hall and stop in Office 1 where a little sign says, “Glasses removed here.” We wouldn’t have any couches or anything cluttering the place up like that, and we could just walk them around the hall and at each station there would be another auditor and he would just ask standard questions. The people coming in would walk all the way around and then out on the street again. Of course, they would stop at the desk before they went out and write out a check for the equivalent amount of medical treatment, which would come to $8,687,962.05!

There is some slight possibility that we may be at that stage. I don’t want to over evaluate anything, however. I sort of feel like a man who has been pretty sure all the way along the line that there was a button someplace and that if one pushed the button something horrendous would happen. The trouble was, there were enormous numbers of buttons that one could push.

There's some more Scientology parallels to that, like the DMSMH or SOS quote about how messed up a case is that pretends death, injury and illness and then there's the Helper from HOM.

Marty Rathbun can't hide his pride in the Tech - of course, he would explain that it's David Miscavige's Reverse Scientology, not L. Ron Hubbard's Scientology.

"Such is the power of the tech."

Wheel out Hubbard's lecture where he warns Scientologists that Scientology can be used to enslave, etc., just as it can be used to free, etc.

Yes, Ron loved us very much, and warned us that an evil person might someday use the powerful tech to do the opposite of what he was doing.

    Watch the heads nod.

Too bad Sweeney doesn't know enough to probe his new "friends" a little further.

He always seems to be just a little bit behind the curve - Scientology wise.

Which, I think, suits Marty&Mike just fine.
