Default It would be fun to write a new book.

I am sure you have all seen the "... for dummies" books in print. They cover a lot of different subjects. "Windows for Dummies" Mac Computers for Dummies" "Christianity for Dummies" etc. etc.

Wouldn't it be fun to write a book "Scientology for Dummies" Just imagine what you could include. I have read a few of the "Dummies" books on various subjects. They usually start with an introduction such as who needs this book? It proceeds from there.

With all the bright and witty people on ESMB I am sure we could all come up with a really revealing and funny book.

You are suggesting a collaboration on this idea?
(BTW, just make sure that the cover is yellow and black!) <snicker>

It's a fun idea but I think that the Dummies publisher would turn it down as being too controversial... and the legal firestorm that CofS would stir up.

    Scientology in one word? HelluvaHoax!

I never felt as free as when I freed myself from "Total Freedom".

For offended Scientologists reading this blasphemy about L. Ron Hubbard---my apologies for talking about real life without lying to you, like Scientology, with goo-goo theta-talk. I know you don't have a floating needle right now. You're not supposed to.

I know of an ex that is writing a book on his many years in the cult (it's not me) and he's formatting it in the manner of a novel. He can cite his many observations and experiences with individuals in the cult without fearing he can be sued over it.

It's no different than when porn companies parody real life events in their videos. There was a Tom Cruise look-a-like that did porn, in themes portraying him as a movie star, and his stage name was Tom Cruse. Scientology had no legal standing to sue the company or it's performer.
