Default NASA to vet Ron's research!!!!

A pair of spacecraft in suits of armor will brave one of the toughest environments in space when they launch later this month to study radiation around Earth.

NASA's Radiation Belt Storm Probes (RBSP) will fly through the thick belts of charged particles that encircle our planet to try to understand these dynamic environments. To withstand the damage such harsh radiation can inflict, the satellites are shrouded in strong layers of shielding.

The $670 million twin probes are due to launch aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket taking off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida at 4:08 a.m. on Aug. 23. They will take up two slightly different orbits through the Van Allen radiation belts, regions of protons and electrons spewed out from the sun that have been trapped by Earth's magnetic field.
    L. Ron Hubbard made big news when his Van Allen belt research was brought up by Ted Koppel when he was interviewing David Miscavage in this famous Nightline interview. Ted, clearly trying to embarrass Scientology, tried to put the plucky David Miscavage on the spot with his devious questioning. Well, ever the front runner in research, Dr. Hubbard's research of the Van Allen radiation belts will be vindicated by none other than NASA. Soon the tables will be turning on Ted Koppel, when NASA puts this controversy to rest, and vindicates the full state of OT reached by Dr. Hubbard.

Can you flesh out the details?
    What did Ted Koppel ask?
based on what did LRH say or write?

none of this rings any bells for me
So send me the prospectus already. I wanna get in on the ground floor before this thing goes into the basement.

Hi Carmelo - on some tape, a BC tape I think, Ron comments how he went exterior into the Van Allen Radiation Belts. I think he said they were hot. Anyway, Koppel brings it up when he has DM on camera - somehow Davie manages to duck the embarassing question.

The full interview is 9 segments long - I don't know which one it is in. But is is worth the watch.

Yeah I guess a dozen or two people happening to be paying attention to what Miscagive had to say would be considered 'big news' by Scientology Standards ... the rest of the post was too ridiculous to comment on, but it was some quality humor
Yes lurkers you are not alone, everyone thinks Scientology is creepy, it's not just you

Hubbard said that there is a screen around the Earth about 50-100 miles up that prevents anything from passing through it, which by the nature of that statement alone would be the Van Allen Radiation Belts.

    How is that being proved?

I can tell you how it has been disproved:

    -Mars Rovers
    -Saturn Satellites
    -Both Voyagers
    -ISS
    -Moon Landings
    -Venus Satellite
    -SOHO
    -Hubble Space Telescope
