Back in my earlier scio days many of us were into alternative crap such as chiropractic, Shaklee products... One of the things that we thought was really cool was this guy who was an iridologist, one who examines your iris to find the things that are wrong in your body. He had the same idea that anything but blue eyes had impurities in them and that was considered a defect that needed to be handled. I thought this idea was B.S. Isn't it possible that brown eyed people evolved that way as a protection against excess sun exposure?
Sounds likes a theory gone too far.
Imagine how boring the world be if everyone had blue eyes. I love blue eyes myself but too much of the same thing loses it's value.
