    Default Taught by secret scientologists

Thousands of primary school kids taught by secret scientologists

"SCIENTOLOGISTS have tricked their way into primary schools posing as drugs campaigners, The Sun can reveal.

Thousands of pupils have sat through classes inspired by the cult — while parents were kept in the dark."

From the article, a spokesman for the Church of Scientology said:

“Narconon is a network of charitable drug rehabilitation and drug education organisations that utilise the discoveries of L. Ron Hubbard to address the problem of drug abuse."

Geez, the non-stop Scientology PR/lie machine never sleeps.

And, to top it off the article used THIS PICTURE of Hubbard (The Cowpoke hisself):

"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." - Bertrand Russell

"They must know how to kindle and fan an extravagent hope". - Eric Hoffer about the "true believer". "Total Freedom", "your eternity", and "OT" involve a few of the extravagant hopes in Scientology.

    Love the term "cult problem"!

I know it's a bit early, but the comments so far are kind of troublesome. Is that a reflection of its readership? For the most part they sound like a bunch of early teens scoring points with each other - nary a committed critic among them that I can see - oops, there's one - and it's almost as if this isn't really news or it's old news. The inertia in the posts ... oh well. That's only from the comment section and perhaps that's a good sign?

It's a good little article, and given some oxygen from the Sun. It really does feel like TIME'S UP for this scam. And hallelujah to that.

I used to talk to kids about drugs for Narconon. And there was no Scientology. It really was a talk on how drugs were bad for you. Personally I think this article is rediculous. There was no indoctrination. I wan not posing as an anti drug campainer. I WAS AN ANTI DRUG CAMPAIGNER. I didn't even mention Hubbard. Basically it was the idea that drugs were poison.

Scientology does plenty of really bad things. I think focusing on those would be better. When we start focusing on the idea that everything Scientology does is horrible we sound like the crack pots.

I am not refering to your post but more the article.

One of the really bad things Scientology does is use PR front groups to manufacture an image of it being a good citizen. Narconon is just such a PR group. Even worse, the information Narconon provides to the community is derived from the babblings of drug-addled mad man. Even worse again, Scientology manipulates good people into believing they are doing good work while all the time they are assisting in covering up Scientology's crimes. By exposing Scientology's stealth methods of getting ill-informed, albeit well-intentioned, people into wog schools to PR the cult, that article is exposing just one little part of the overall criminal conspiracy.
"A person will never be free from Scientology if they use Scientology to explain Scientology - they will always be left with huge unexplained gaps that can never be answered because the answers Scientology gives are inadequate and false." - Alanzo
