I believe this may actually be a paid for spot by the Scilons.

I was approached by a local TV station that they were selling interest/pr stories for several thousand dollars for a 3-5 minute interview and visit, and a lot of TV stations were going to this as a source of revenue. All the responses seem too canned and polite to be a genuine interview, too staged.
