SACRILEGE!!! Huh... I know a lot of people reading would think that my priorities are wrong, but when it hit me that was my absolute first thought in response into being more excited about cult stuff than Whovian stuff? I went, well, wtf and Merry Christmas...

I still got scars and stuff, but when had that moment... I realized I've moved a long way from where I was when I first left. We all heal in many ways... I think having sci-fi again without anything to do with cult. Recently heard some tales about folks healed with punk music.

Not to discount anything going on--seriously... it was just a really nice moment when I realized I've changed (because sometimes I don't see it).

I suspect the Cast of Characters cheat sheet for this case will need to be updated, and I'll (happily!) do so after reviewing all of the depositions.

Q: How do you tell the difference between COB Miscavige and CPT Miscavige?
A: You don't, it's impossible. He blurred the lines and petard-hoisting will commence.

    Default Re: Rathbun v Miscavige -- New Motions Filed Dec 5, 2013 & Dec 6, 2013

Per the Comal County's online court docket, the following info was listed:

    Dec 5, 2013 -- SUBPOENA
    Dec 5, 2013 -- MOTION TO SET
    Dec 6, 2013 -- MOTION TO SET

The site doesn't say which attorney asked for the subpoena, who the subpoena is for, whether it was granted, etc. Grrr.
The site doesn't say which attorneys filed separately for the "MOTION TO SET". Grr x 1000. (No "Response to Motion" has yet been filed.)

MOTION TO SET...a date for a future hearing?
MOTION TO SET...up a tent outside the Texas courthouse with KSW banners?
MOTION TO SET...-TLE a bet whether CPT "Cappy Slappy" Miscavige is a cretin or two cretins jammed in an undersized body?
MOTION TO SET...my teeth on edge?
MOTION TO SET...someone else up as the fall-guy for illegally harassing people?
MOTION TO SET...aside an enormous amount of Teegeeack cash to convert to Target 2 currency?

I'm stumped. Comal County court's docket abbreviations are just too clever for me. YMMV.

I'm surprised Paul Marrick and Greg Arnold, the PI's that followed Pat Broeker, aren't on this list.

I can only imagine what an assessment of this list would show while DM is holding the cans.

The names listed under 'potential witnesses' were plucked directly from declarations/affidavits filed with the court.

AFAIK, Mr. Marrick & Mr. Arnold weren't mentioned in the documents, but that's certainly subject to change as more docs are filed.

If anyone reads the declarations (<---highly recommended, btw) and finds a name not already on the 'potential witnesses' list, please post and I'm happy to add as necessary.

Also, if there's relevant information about a person on the Cheat Sheet that would help us all to better understand who these people are and what they've been up to, please post it. The next hearing is scheduled for December 11, 2013 -- a day that's likely to have lots of new information.

    EDIT: Apologies to all.

In the Plaintiff's First Amended Petition, dated September 4, 2013, Paul Merrick & Greg Arnold are indeed named in the pleading.
Also named in that specific document: Pat Broeker, Linda Hamel, Joanne Wheaton, Richard W. Rogers, III, Esq., Allan Cartwright, Bert Leahy, and Karin Pouw. <----Those not previously included will be added to the 'potential witnesses' list soon.

JB (No one's yet mentioned Kirstie Alley in a declaration and, yeah, I'm kinda bummed about that.)

The details of their court case may be sufficient. This may be part of Jefferies plan.
He may have court statements from these PIs that DM instructed them personally.
