Just for the sake of arguement ... What if they disbanded the Sea Org, did away with PTS/SP and Ethics tech, made amends for all of OSA's black-ops, sent DM to jail for misappropriation of funds and assualt and extortion and blackmail so he was gonna be away for life, stopped using the mind-control of KSW, and stopped charging fees?

I guess it wouldn't really BE Scientology anymore, would it ...? I might, just maaaaaaybe, go look at an organization that took those steps. Maybe. But go back? Doubt it. Too much trust has been smashed to bits.

I personally still wouldn't go back because I would know that in the end all of the things you mentioned were implemented by Hubbard to make his army of slaves and I just couldn't be comfortable or "in session". I'd always be wondering, what was Hubbard's intention for writing this or implementing this auditing procedure? How did it serve his interest?

OTOH, I'd feel the world would be a much better place and would be very happy to let anyone who was interested in such things investigate them to their hearts content knowing that at least no one was going to get hurt.

You're probably right. A lot of those auditing commands were designed to create a pliant little robot, so your distrust of the session is in some ways well-founded. I'd love to see all that happen, though. I think we could claim a victory at that point.
