'Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones. I am not afraid.'

Who would expect a person that is a fully indoctrinated $cio to display wit and success? $cio is a booby trapped enclosed system rife with foot bullets. Hublard was a paranoid sociopath on the run from the Feds. Phenomenal insights, much less common ones, are beyond the Hublard/$cio paradigm.
Ask yourself why a criminal totalitarian psychological mind control mafia wants to own your mind, heart, and soul while
hiding behind the name of religion, then you will begin to understand the manipulative evil of hubbard & his scientology.

A big piece of the data pie is all about money: Missions gladly paid 10% of their Corrected Gross Income to WW via the Mission Office US. Most of us paid like clockwork, a check mailed off to the Mission Office each week. During a period when there was an attempt to establish a Mission Liaison Office in Orange County some Missions paid an extra 1% to that office, some balked. There was no ding for not paying because there was no LRH policy that said we should. It was taken as just a request.
Years later, in my WISE Office I was paying as much as 23% each week to WISE Int. I am not an org insider so I do not have firsthand experience on that, but I believe orgs pay much more than 23% on a regular basis. I found 23% suffocating the company startup.
Missions attracted higher classed auditors for a number of reasons, but focusing on money, Missions paid their auditors and other staff better than the orgs. In the mid-'70s I was making $7/hr. Certainly that's not a lot even by '70s standards, but I was happy, and I had enough money to live. At the same time, my power auditor at ASHO was making about half of that.
Missions staffed as needed, as affordable, like many sensible businesses do. Orgs staffed to fill an org board. In Scientology, few people are already trained or educated to fill a post. Everyone has to come aboard on their own dime, or they get trained at the expense of the org. Do the math.
Missions had a head admin honcho called the ED. Larger Missions might have had a deputy. Missions also had a senior tech person. In comparison, orgs have the ED, the LRH Comm, the FBO, and what else? I forget. Each entity is attempting to run the org following orders from upper management. It is a "model of admin knowhow" based on LRH's multiple personality disorder--and distrust.
Getting back on topic, Missions were a much simpler affair than Orgs. In that regard, it is no wonder many of them would be more powerful delivering less services--and clearer than Orgs. Er, ah... "Power of Simplicity" and all that implies.

Because that would involve "cost analysis" with the full accompaniment of pie charts and MS Power Point presentations which would highlight the differential between gross and net profit margins. For some reason, these "stats" piss off the prideful who worked for next to nothing for decades as the hangmen on Gallow's Pole as they empowered a madman in the financial rape of those not yet desperate enough to sign billion year slave contracts while contributing to the enslavement of others. Don't know why, but it just does piss people off to see their stats as enslavers highlighted... For many, the reality of remembrance is brutal.

Are you Granting-Us Our-Beingness Leon? (Now tell the truth). And if you are, may we just say ' THANK-YOU ' (for our eternal indebtedness to you and to your great friend of humanity, L. Ron Hubbard, for granting us our being, to be, eternal beings. (which is a really really nice thing for you guys to do, for us, of humanity, by the way)"But above all these things lies the ability of a person to grant beingness to the moment, to the past, to the future, to other persons and his own things. To grant beingness, and then not to be afraid of it. And if you have granted beingness, continue then granting beingness, instead of stopping doing it, just because one part of it has hit you." LRH
Now here's an inside scoop (for both you and your friend Ron): Neither We, nor the the Moment, nor the Past, nor the Future, nor any Other Persons (Nor their Own Things) have any need whatsoever, of YOU GRANTING to US Our BEINGNESS, to Be, Eternal Beings.. Can you grasp that? It's really a simple concept Leon. Think about it. (outside of 'hubbardarian' or 'scientological' terms, if you can).
AND, if 'you can' think about that, (outside of H & S terms), you will more than likely break out into a great display of literal laughter (and spiritual relief). Firstly at Hubbard, and then at yourself. A deep, long lasting, heart felt laughter (of relief) to boot. For accepting such a patently preposterous concept, at face value, which concept only serves/served to fortify the impending doom of the temporal ego that touts such a tautology to begin with. (with a straight face no less, in the form of that particular & peculiar, and nearly world-wide infamous-scientology-stare)
And the fact that one does not outgrow nor transcend formerly held believes or convictions, by the way, is not a sign of spiritual or psychological growth or maturity (to be touted). It's a sign of scientological-madness, gone wild. (or dianetical-madness if you prefer)
Nonetheless, good luck with that. (As our Visions of Awakening, called Prayers, are with You. Which Visions & Prayers you cannot prevent, but merely, unfortunately, arrogantly, delay).
YOU are not God. And L. RON HUBBARD is not (and was not) God, either.
For We, Alone, are God.
Apocalyptic
(ok, just kidding about the 'Alone' part)
in terms of semantics. spiritually speaking.
nothing is alone
& it feels good, to boot.
