At the age of 12 I went to Portland to fight that battle (1985, Christoffersson case) with a 5 year old girl and tons and tons of other Scientologists. No parent. No guardian.

I was there for a month.

I had no idea what the Church of Scientology was. But I was fighting for their cause.

Because it was all I knew.
