Thread: Do CoS Use Sec Check Data?

Default Do CoS Use Sec Check Data?

There are two ways of using sec checks data: 1) To embarrass a person; 2) To report crimes to the officials.

The embarrassing data includes the abnormal sex behavior such as sex with a dominatrix, homosexuality, group sex, necrophilia (this is a sign of a severe mental disorder), bestiality, etc. Except for bestiality, which is a form of animal abuse, these sexual deviations do not constitute a crime. But it is understandable why majority of the people with these experiences prefer not to discuss their indiscretions.

Some people have committed financial crimes such as embezzlement, buying of stolen property, financial fraud, etc. These individuals are vulnerable to CoS blackmail.

My encounter with Scientology was brief, I haven't have heard about CoS using the sec check data against its real or perceived enemies.

Did CoS use sec check data against you or someone you know?

It happened to me, an executive (I was exposing for his abuses toward staff..) That was not a CO$\OSA op against me. That was a personnal fight with a nasty executive guy.
He had gone in the HGC and sneaked into my pc folders, my sec checks folders it appears.

Then picked up..the intimate things, normal stuff though... (since there was no crime, no fraud, or anything else to use) and he fabricated and made-up stories out of it (exactly as OSA does on the CO$ dirty and nasty websites about critics) , spreaded rumors, that I was a heavy I was a pervert \ethics case

    A pervert

(I admit having molested tons of BT's)

At that time that was very disturbing, he dammaged my reputation, (I was well regarded in my SCN community) and I was now regarded as a degraded being.

But, it has contributed to make me a person who could walk my path without ever wanting\expecting group support, neither from loyal devoted friends to such groups

The guy had been investigated and found to be a pervert and abusive person hiding bad things...and declared. (Oh the karma bitch!)
and since then, pervert left alone and can keep going on molesting a few BT's a week to get her deep depraved basic instincts satisfied.

Nothing compare to what some critics and others have been exposed to by OSA taking their sec check\ ethics folders to use datas, and making up stories with it, to be used against them.

Default Re: Do CoS Use Sec Check Data?

I encountered a form of a sec check when I was at EPF. My two friends and I drunk beer at the street during a lunch break, which was a violation of LA city regulations. A fellow member of EPF wrote a KR on us and send it to the EPF Captain. As the result, the Captain gave us an order to provide him with the written overt data.

It was not a regular sec check because it didn't require the e-meter (I forgot the name of this procedure).

I thought for a good 10 minutes what should I put in the "overt composition" before putting the pedal to the metal.

I decided to start with the 2D stuff and described how couple of years ago I was dating a married woman. It took a while because the Captain said that I should describe all my encounters with her. I also wrote that I had a group sex once, and wrote a bit about the settings. I didn't feel that I did something else wrong regarding my sexual activities, but the Captain said that I should go on with the sexual overt material. That posed a dilemma for me, but I resolved it by providing the data about my one-night-stands. I wasn't sure if a one-night-stand is an overt, but thought it would be helpful to present it as an overt.

The Captain liked what he saw. He smiled lugubriously and said, " You should be disciplined on 2D. Now, write about your Scientology overt stuff." "I don't have any. This is my second week at EPF. But give me time, and I'll do something bad," I said

This was not entirely true -- I already had a huge overt against Scientology -- I knew how to fool the e-meter, and used my knowledge to avoid word clearing. Then there was something else, which could have been classified as an overt -- I didn't join Sea Org because I wanted to save the planet, and the 1 billion year contract meant nothing to me; I wanted to reach the NED level ASAP, and leave Sea Org in a hurry. Of course, I was not going to write anything about these overts.

"Well then. write about your breakings of the US laws. I know, you have them because everyone does," said the Captain.

At that time I thought that CoS was a highly ethical organization, although I was not so sure about a small percentage of its members who had a potential of becoming SPs and leaving the church. "If I have enemies who later leave the church, they might use my sec check data against me," I thought. At that time I didn't have enemies because I was at EPF. But I heard that the SO members are constantly at each other's throats (as I learned later, this statement is 100% correct).

I thought that it would be prudent to describe my crimes with the expired statutes of limitations.

I started with the innocent infractions such as smoking of marijuana, which I did while living in New York City. I did the same in Los Angeles, but didn't mention it because of the statute of limitations. I didn't write about my two LSD trips because I didn't want to be thrown out of Sea Org prematurely.

The Captain was asking for more information, and I gave it to him. I admitted that I had frequented illegal casinos in NYC, but omitted that I did the same in LA. I also confessed that I bought stolen property in NYC, but "forgot" to mention that I did the same in LA.
Finally, after 4 hours of "soul searching" this pitiful process ended.

Oddly enough, the Captain didn't ask me if I masturbated. But my two friends were told to wrote about all their masturbations starting from the age of 18. I guess, the Captain realized that asking a man with a long history of one-night-stands if he masturbates is kind of ridiculous.

The purpose of Sec Check data has always been to enable control over people, either through fear of having their personal secrets disclosed, or by getting the person to feel guilty and degraded (with the only way to "make amends" being to contribute something to Scientology). That's how it is with totalitarian ideologies.

The novel "Atlas Shrugged" has a good dialog on the subject

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with.”
If you don’t offend anyone, you also don’t inspire anyone.

I think the grabbing of intell (for further purpose to threats of balckmail) focussed on ''sex crimes'' is related to a sort of adventist , evangelist or toher protestant fundamentalist mindset.

There is unique thought tha sex is to be executed in one unique form :

A man and a woman married...the man lying over the women.
It takes 5 minutes and the procreation process is completed.

Now, everything else(as sexual expression\experience) that do not conform to this view, is either a crime of perversion.

We all know that youth people are at a truning point of their life they experience their sexuality ..also the hormonal system creating libido is very active. It is normal to get different experiences, and different partners to get better understanding and knowledge of this part of us.

It is retarded, and prove to be unknowleadgeable of the human nature and basic needs. The true perversion is to pervert something natural and related to love and sensuality into something one shall be ashamed of.

The cult of $cientology, as most of pseudo-religious cults, carry an OCD about sex..torture it's member about it, to control them, while the real perversion is to be found in the mind and behavior of their guru funder who usually uses kids for all means as slaves.

I've seen many $cientologists ''traumatized'' about their sexual like with this sec checking and witholds\MH fishing + ethics handling of their pseudo-wrongness to fix it. The were brought to believe they were a pervert. I recall few of them crying in despair in front of me!
