I just want to point out that TonyO posted that the facility is not OWNED by scientology. Ahh well, hopefully the errors will get left behind as this story spreads.

I am looking forward to more info on Ed, the scientology brother of his sister who was at the facility, and is sounding like a true scientology sheeple. What did he do on the bridge, what posts did he hold? How much money did he pay to ABLE ? Who was his lawyer. Whoe provided the funds for his lawyer.

The harm scientology causes is so wide spread. I am so glad that harm is getting much wider exposure, because that can increase the chances of the harm diminishing. Not only in the USA but worldwide.

Rehab Center Run By Scientologist Shut Down

WOODBURY, Tenn. - A rehab center in the hills of rural Cannon County has been shut down after a 911 call led investigators to a locked facility.

Inside, they found scientologist literature, but more important, investigators said the staff wasn't qualified to care for its patients.

The facility was called Life Center for a New Tomorrow. Deputies said they arrived to investigate a 911 hang up there back in February.

Inside, deputies said they found someone who said he was being mistreated, falsely imprisoned and treated through scientology.

“The workers there, the manager and other staff were scientologists, there was a great deal of scientology paraphernalia found throughout the facilities,” said Trevor Lynch, Assistant District Attorney.

Lynch said deputies found two patients there, one of whom had a mental illness, the other was being treated for substance abuse.

“This facility was not capable for caring for the individuals it was taking in,” Lynch said.

Three people were eventually arrested. Dennis Flamond and Hans Lytle were charged with false imprisonment, and another man, Marc Vallieres was charged with facilitation of kidnapping.

All of them pleaded either guilty or a plea that’s similar to no contest, and entered judicial diversion, meaning the charges could be expunged if the three stay out of trouble.

The three agreed to shut down the facility they were running.

NewsChannel 5 tried contacting the attorney representing the people arrested, but our phone calls were not returned.

This was not the first time that Life Center for a New Tomorrow has faced scrutiny. In 2014, the state cited the facility for not having records of background checks or annual training for employees on file, and having residents at the facility that they weren't licensed for, among other violations.

Scientology CCHR continues to recommend alleged Tennessee False Imprisonment Facility.

Following-up on my earlier comment regarding Scientology CCHR Oregon continuing to recommend the alleged Tennessee False Imprisonment Facility (which was based on a link in one of Tony Ortega's earlier posts), I did some Googling and found that the main Scientology CCHR website also continues to recommend the facility:

I wonder if this will be brought up in discussions in the next NDAA meeting May 20th 2017

    http://www.ndaa.org

How many of the District Attorney's are getting the big picture now. Will they work with Jeff Sessions to address this and the many other affronts scientology is involved in which lower the level of Justice in the USA.?

    I can hope "

    http://www.ndaa.org

A small group of NDAA Executive Committee members met in Washington, DC with Attorney General Sessions to discuss public safety and issues facing prosecutors in the field. Topics included the heroin and opioid crisis, attacks on forensic science, ways to strengthen collaboration between US Attorneys and local prosecutors, human trafficking, and violent crime among others. The AG made it clear that he intends to work with NDAA on a wide range of issues in the future.

EXPANSION NEWS FROM THE LIFE CENTER FOR A NEW TOMORROW

For the past 15 years, the Life Center for a New Tomorrow in Tennessee USA has helped many people who had type 3s condition or some mental difficulties, restimulation and people on psych drugs that wanted to wean off them. The original goal on the Admin Scale for the Life Center was to eventually created a facility that would be licensed just the same as a psych hospital but which would of course not use any psych treatments or drugs but would rather use the only workable technology of the mind from LRH.

Because of the legal restriction and abuse of power from the psychiatrict industry, it has been difficult to move toward that goal. Therefore, I have decided to expand the operation and open a facility in Mexico. I have found a very good location in Ejido Ignacio Zaragoza. It is about 40 minutes from Ensenada Baja CA in a small village. I already have clients waiting to go there as soon as I open.

What I need now is one staff to begin the operation. I need someone who is bilingual. A trained auditor would be best of course but it is not needed at the beginning. I need someone who had good TRs, patience, can confront psychotic type cases and is willing to relocate to live on the property. The staff also needs to be able to work legally in Mexico. We can help with work permit.

Once we began operation and have 3 clients or more, I will hire another staff. The property is located on 1.5 acre. It is a large 3-bedroom house. About one mile from the house the same owner has a 60-acre parcel of land, totally isolated and beautiful. The idea is to build the ideal hospital on that property once we are ready.

If you or anyone you know might be interested please let me know. You can email me directly at owner@lifecenterforanewtomorrow.com. In order to get rid of psychiatry, we need an alternative where people can go. The Life Center for a New Tomorrow is that alternative.

    Marc Vallieres

By locating in "a tiny village in Baja", I'm guessing that they think they can have the local cop on the payroll.

That's rich... Scientology advising people about "Informed Consent". By definition, an active Scientologist in good standing is someone who has signed away all their rights to informed consent.

    https://scientologymoneyproject.com/...ing-contracts/

    ///
How do good people get trapped in something like Scientology? One way is through the series of unconscionable legal contracts the Church of Scientology uses to strip its members of their civil and legal rights. As revealed in its own documents, Scientology is designed to ensnare its members legally, and as soon as practically possible. Contracts are the legal backbone of the “Prison of Belief.” The public doesn’t know about this malicious series of Scientology contracts. New Scientologists are never informed, advised, or counseled in advance about the potential adverse legal consequences they could face as a result of signing these contracts. These contracts are one-sided and give the Church all of the power while taking away power from individual members.

I question the wisdom of locating a (Narconon by any other name) drug rehab facility in the middle of a drug cartel war zone. What happens when your patients transition into full blown Scientology and start telling all on the e-meter?

    http://www.businessinsider.com/sinal...nia-sur-2016-6

Numerous reports over the last few months have indicated that the Sinaloa and Jalisco New Generation cartels have started to clash in Tijuana, a city in northern Baja California, just over the border from San Diego.
Now a report from Mexican newspaper El Universal, based on insight from experts and government officials, indicates that the clash may have spread throughout the peninsula.
Violence in Baja California Sur, a state considered to be solidly controlled by "El Chapo" Guzmán's Sinaloa cartel, has likely been caused by clashes between Guzmán's cartel and the fast-growing Jalisco New Generation cartel.
According to government statistics, there were 232 homicides in Baja California Sur between February 2014 and February 2016 — nearly double the 129 homicides recorded between 2011 and 2013.
According to sources El Universal spoke with, this spike in killings is linked to the drug trade and has been driven in recent months by Guzmán's capture and the perception of vulnerability it has created.
"A war broke out between cartels without the state, municipal, and federal governments being able to do anything about it," Víctor Martínez de Escobar, a businessman and former local representative for the conservative National Action Party, told El Universal.
With Guzmán's extradition, "there will come a very strong reshuffling and the entry of small cartels," he added.
