Exactly. The only power they have is what you give them, and if family and friends can't be used for disconnection, then no point in stressing.
There is nothing quite like the wonder of finding a voice you thought had been lost.

I loved your story and thanks for posting it. Cult escape stories never get boring.

My favorite line that got a chuckle out of me is:
drove all the way to Kentucky before I stopped for a rest because Georgia and Tennessee wasn’t enough distance for me between myself and Flag

Oh, I never did XDn so those bastards never got my evil purps or evil intentions.
I NEVER had an evil purpose or intentions UNTIL I FOUND OUT SCIENTOLOGY WAS A TOTAL FUCKING SCAM~!

    Now Scientology - Game on!

    Thanks for your story.

The most important life decision you can or ever will make is to leave the cult. I blew from Flag in 1980 and still consider it one of the best decisions I have ever made. The end result of the decision to leave the cult is always positive.

Scientology is a vacation from reality gone terribly wrong.

I've given enough information for them to identify me but nothing has happened to me. Probably because I have no friends or family still involved in scientology.

Also, I was declared about 15 years ago and have heard nothing from them since - except for one phone call from the Continental Justice Chief. After I told him what I thought of scientology he promised not to contact me again and he's kept his word,
I was called by a SO member I knew from my days "in". After I told him he was welcome to stay at my house if he was ever in the area (basically telling him he could blow to my place ) I got hardly any calls.

I've been posting that one may do all services in the FZ for 17years.

Around 6 months ago approx got a couple of phone calls from
3 OSAbots who behaved like the 3 stooges. They asked me to
remove bad comments from my website re D M. I have made
no comments at all re DM on my website. Eventually they
clarified that they wished to remove the website for those leaving the SO.
leaving CO$. They assumed that the website for those wishing to
leave the SO is mine. Its not. I'm merely the UK contact phone no.
And have been for maybe 15 years. And still am. [ took them
    that long to contact me?]

My message to you, gentle readers, be scared....be very scared
if the 3 stooges contact you.

You know, I had a recent text for some event and replied that I would help the sender get out of the cult. I've noticed a marked decline in calls scince. :-)
