So, they are scouting around Birmingham for a location for their new ideal org and, "hey presto!", there's a big sign saying "ideal" at the front. No-brainer!

A Birmingham City Council spokesman said: "If the Church of Scientology is going to use it as a place of worship they will have to apply for change of use. However, if they are going to use it as a headquarters, no application would be necessary."

I'd like to see how that fits in with the campaign for religious recognition.
"Place of worship" - only if it's worshipping the mighty stat.

Will that bring in more public to be audited? Will that put the CofS in a Power condition? See, we have all these beautiful buildings, aren't we in Power now!

The $amount of real estate is in reverse proportion to the $amount of auditing, I'll betcha. I bet more $$ pour in from donations than from actual auditing starts on the lower levels (meaning new people in).

Absolutely agree, CKP - DM has taken it to a totally marcabian reality like the Catholic church for instance. Its infrastructure, not substance or message. CofS has gone Establishment.
