No, Sandygirl, you are not jaded - there is something VERY OFF with this video.

A better story would be to follow up the part where she says "I had a lot of help from Flag and then decided to route onto the basics". Zero points for working out what kind of pressure tactics were used on this girl.

When she says "I realised I don't need approval to survive" - yeah to survive with the Hubbard indoctrinated view of the world which makes her "special & elite". With her now highly developed skewered view of the world, she can elitely walk into her adult life with the smug satisfaction that she has the "right" set of tools to live life. With her completely reduced ability to see or experience anything non-Hubbard she will live a life to only do the work of the cult. A total conversion.

She says she has gotten the "best preparation for life" and urges all young people in Clearwater to get on their basics...she is the perfect cult indoctrinee. Standing there, the giggly school-girl, paraded as a mouth-piece to bring others into the controlling monster. She is the ideal member-to-member indoctrinator.

You can definitely tell she's teleprompting/reading it. Seems nervous, of course, but being fourteen pretty impressed being on stage like that. It all just seems a bit contrived, though. Too staged. Too phony; thanking RTC and COB. Interesting - thanks for posting it!
