Conerns about posting here

There has been some concerns voiced on other forums about the security of posting here.

I'm not sure how to go about addressing those concerns, or even if I need to bother.

It seems those who are trying to scaremonger are those who have something to lose by allowing Ex Scientologists to get together, are mean spirited or are just plain jealous.

I am happy to answer any legitimate concerns any member has.

Please post your questions here or privately (if you want to keep it between you and I) and I'll answer them to the best of my ability.

Emma, I think a little bit of caution is natural. It may take a little while before people open up but I am sure they will if the board becomes a safe place to talk.

As Admin you will need to jump on anyone who takes it as their right to shred anyone who is even suspected of having any affiliation or sympathy with Scn...you probably know who I mean. The people who come to this board will be at all stages of leaving Scn, and they must be able to sort out their experiences in a friendly supportive environment.

I don't know where else to ask this - why is it that your and Tamarithas's posts are so wide on my screen? It tends to break some of my concentration when I have to scroll back and forth to read them.

From my own experiences I can tell everybody this:
There is no need to be worried about ones identity, nor is there any risk one can be traced by posting here (or any other message board).
I understand that some worrie about their IP-adress. Well, only your ISP (Internet Service Provider) can find name, adress and place of living by your IP-adress. Noone else has access to this information, except for government authorities like FBI or CIA. In case of copyright infringement, or other behaviour against the law, your ISP will only provide your personal info to others with a subpoena.

OK. It was the icon for Tamaritha's Yahoo message and your Skye message that was doing it. Usually I turn my pictures off because this helps on some other forums I visit.

In this case I just hit show picture on one of your icons and it fixes my screen. Even the posts on other threads. Thanks.

I am amused rather than concerned over the thread on Lerma's board. To understand what that guy and his board are about, go over there and have a look around yourselves.

His General Discussion page is nothing other than a DA page on other critics. There is nothing positive. It is all fear mongering, gossip and character assassination.

I'd be far more concerned if he endorsed this board

He can't even come up with an orginal name. He has put "ocmb" in it to ride on the coat tails of xenu.net. Yet he calls Andreas a friend.

As for quaoar....pfft! He was put right back in his box, firstly by Andreas by banning him and secondly by every other poster on that particular thread.

Isn't it sad that we have more to worry about from other so called "critics" than OSA or the CoS :(

I've had a change of heart about that whole bunch. They are paraniod.
