    Default Waheeda Omar, DC

It took me a bit to remember her name. Chiropractor (wonderful) from Atlanta, on WISE lines as well as Atl Mission lines. I was a brand new baby Scientologist, and Waheeda went off for Flag with much hoopla to do her OT levels... OT 3 I think. Was probably around '87-'88. Came back in a casket a few weeks later, I think from a heart attack. She was young (maybe 40ish). I was shocked, but of course there was a big PR event celebrating that she had gone on to higher levels.... never sat well with me, but by then I had drunk the cool-aide. :-(

    RIP Martin McKendrick, Leeds Mission

I just read on a thread in Reconnecting With Old Friends that Martin died in the 1980's. Another victim of the evil cult.

Sad about Erik, whose last name is spelled 'Knauerhase'. He was a good soul!

His death was announced in The Auditor Issue 308 May 2003
The Monthly Journal of Scientology American Saint Hill Organization ASHO

Erik Knauerhase departed his body on 4 March, 2003. A 27 year staff
veteran, Erik started his career in Sacramento, and after building up
that org, he was promoted into the Sea Organization. A trained
auditor, Cramming Officer and Supervisor, as well as a very successful
administrator, Erik created expansion for Scientology across the
globe. We look forward to his rapid return.

I look forward to him never returning......

    In that same Auditor issue:
Myrna Hand peacefully departed her body on 13 March, 2003 at age 72.
An active Scientologist, Myrna was most recently known for her work
with the Super Power team, which resulted in tremendous support for
this important project. Well-loved in Orlando, where she was first on
staff, Myrna's many friends across the planet wish her well, and look
    forward to her return.

Don't know if anyone mentioned David Ross. He was a poet, and friend of Russell Salamon. Died of cancer many years ago in Florida. He told me when I left the church in the early 1980's that he knew David Miscavige was bad news, but that he intended to weave his way thru the craziness and get his L's and other levels at Flag. He disconnected from me, but later on, when I heard he had cancer, I wrote him a letter and he answered with a very kind reply.. He was a strange mixture of Highly Sophisticated Artistry and Intelligence, and a crazy Charlie Chaplin side.. with a temper and ego that could shake mountains LOL I do miss him. Dilpickle

Is that the Toby that was the Chaplain at ASHO in the late 80s -early 90's?

    When did she die?

    Default Trevor Meldal-Johnsen

I'm surprised that Trevor Meldal-Johnsen's passing has not been mentioned yet on ESMB. He died in 2003 of a massive cardiac event.

Here's a press release about his death and writing career at
    http://www.24-7pressrelease.com/pres...ller-31113.php

Here's an old thread on alt religion scientology about his death at
    http://alt.religion.scientology.nark...meldal-johnsen

For those of you who don't know who Trevor was, Trevor was a writer with many published novels, non-fictions and screenplays to his name. One of his novels, Always, sold a million copies.

Originally from South Africa, he worked as a journalist in New Zealand and Australia before moving to the U.S.

His writing partners included Dan Sherman (nearly 30 years ago, before Dan became a total asshole) and the estimable Vaughn Young.

On the Scientology front, he wrote as a paid writer: The Interpol Connection: An Inquiry Into the International Criminal Police Organization and Truth about Scientology.

Anyone who knew Trevor well remembers him for his wit and intelligence and his devotion to good scotch and astonishingly low-rent bars. He was an amazing storyteller and had amazing stories to tell. Best of all, he suffered fools very, very badly.

    R.I.P., Trevor.
