Data needed on Arte Maren & Harvey Schmiedeke

Hi all,

we are going to have a WISE convention soon (29-31 August).

The hype machine is on maximum overdrive to WISE members, even to non-Scientologists.

The hype concerns two lecturers mostly: Arte Maren, who is claimed to be a Class VIII and someone who worked with LRH and held Admin tech seminars at IBM, Teledyne, Nestlé and AAMCO (no kidding!) and appeared on Larry King Live and in Voice of America.

Harvey Schmiedeke is the other one, he is to hold a seminar using LRH and Sergio Zyman data. Not much info is given about him.

Do you have any data on this Mr. Maren? Is it true what is claimed?

I am intending to cover this on my blog, and any data you have is greatly appreciated.

Artie was the big PR maren, er, maven for the USGO in LA, and was there at the Manor (now CCLA) when the FBI paid a visit. In a panic, he took a number of apparently incriminating docs and threw them in the toilet and flushed. D'oh! the FBI had turned off the water! So he fished them out, and later was seen giving a ringing defense of the church against the fascist invaders to reporters with big wet stains coming out of both his suit pants' pockets.

Later, he did not do well in the DC jail during the subsequent trial phase of this part of Scn history. Others have details on that.

Do you have any data on this Mr. Maren? Is it true what is claimed?

I am intending to cover this on my blog, and any data you have is greatly appreciated.

I met Arte Mehren once in NY and was not particularly impressed. I do know that he was once the "public spokesman" for scientology. He apparently had/has a career/business as sort of a motivational/success oriented seminar speaker/presenter.

He was not young then (maybe 15 years ago) and would be getting "long in the tooth" by now. Pretty sure he did have personal experience w/lrh, but know nothing of his training/case status.

You may find him on google - I'm hurrying now and did not try. Hope this is of some use.

This came up in another thread, but I think monthly we need to remind people of who these people really are. Remember, WISE "Consultants" are out ripping off the community as I type. They pretend they're NOT Scientologists, or they'll say they are members, but "This has nothing to do with it"/C of S.
Yea.............right! Here's a bit of my story re WISE, told to another person who just left a WISE group.

I worked for a few of those W.I.S.E. (World's Institute of Scientology
LIARS, rip off artists and cons, and their out Ethics, inc)--I cannot say
enough: IF you're connecting up to them, do NOT get out your check books until you've read ALL about WISE on the Net. Do NOT sign ANY
contracts, do NOT go to lunch with them at Celebrity Center (that's your Q that they're trying to get you on the Bridge in Scientology---and even if that means 86ing your wife and family..........that IS their choice).
Learn before you sign, or pay!

The people I worked for:
Survival Strategies, run by Harvey Schmiedeke and Craig Ferrarrah
totally miss-used "The Tech", and ALL of their "OT Consultants"
Stood by, watched Harvey and Dan Owen run this completely
disgusting, bogus, basically gang bang out-tech "Committe of Evidence"
on me (where I NEVER got to even speak -only present my side in writing, and Harvey met with Dan and gang ever day. NOT ONE
of them, including Barbara Weisman (who claims to be such an
authority on the tech) would even stand up for the tech, let alone
me. SICK---truly sick. Huedi Fair was another one I remember who
laid down for this CRAP.

Also, TRT: Run by Bill and Ruth--the rip off artists---Bowen's
where they owe my now X-husband (and me) $50,000 and
his partner $100,000====really both 100k as my husband's
money only got cut down due to some creepy 'waiver' he'd signed-
doubt that's really legal. Even with a WISE arbitration, Bowen's
were able to PAY OFF THE INT EXEC'S, get the entire
"Arbitration Policy" CANCELED,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and we were supposed
to "Fly to Flag to start over". Oh yeah, that was going to happen
in a cold day in HELL.

To name just a few.................

F**** ALL Of them, who are part of W.I.S.E.. The worst was W.I.S.E. themselves......who run it! EVEN with a full write up of a step by step total out tech, would they do a damned thing to help me? Hell no! Harvey and Craig RAN the WISE Field junk, and they paid them every month!
Those who support WISE are nothing but weasels, cons, liars, phonies, and ALL they care about are THEMSELVES!

I used to tell Scientology Kids, back when I was "in":
DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN THE WISE FLY TRAP...as that IS
all it is.

To anyone thinking of joining a W.I.S.E. company, hoping to "Increase your revenue ($$) or organizational skills, please make sure you study up on this group, long and HARD--as it IS a downward slide, no matter how many "Success stories" they can show you! Ask yourself this:
IS your mind, your family, your entire savings worth whatever they're
offering? If the answer is "No"...run for your life! They're NOT there to help you--they make money off of suckers, the same as Hubbard did.

WISE is anything but wise. Simply a manipulating big con to make others feel less able so they put in piles of cash into the coffers of their CONsultants leeches and piranhas.

The protected "Upstat" pay the most bribes and protection money. And thus there is no real wisdom, justice or fair dealings with WISE.

Plus, Ruth Bowen also has my Grandmother's China----FTR. Grrrrrrrr. (They could end my writing about them by merely doing what is
right: Paying up the $$$$ they've ripped off AND giving back my Grandmother's China.

Quite a few people have been stopped from forking out $$$ to W.I.S.E by
reading my writings. I know as they've called me. One just did last week (Another saved from being fleeced by C of S!)
