Anon=Terrorists?

Take this for what it is worth. Right now, it is a "rumor", nothing more.

A West Coast source told me that the Church of Scientology is pulling strings (and calling favors) to try to get Anon declared a "Terrorist Organization", and a "Hate Group".

I trust my source 100%. But you do not know me, nor my source. Fair enough.

This is the advice that I was offered.

a) to date, Sci's have attacked Anons. No record of an Anon attacking physically, a Sci. We must make sure we NEVER have physical contact with a Sci that could be questionable. Therefore, we must make sure that at raids, we are in pairs, and that several cameras be on everything that we do. The individuals members of the CofS have been given a nod to be more "aggressive" to indicate that they are "protecting themselves".

b) personal (verbal) attacks on individual Sci's kept to a minimum. Unless in a larger group, and part of the general noise. This will avoid "stalking" charges, and the ability for individuals (Sci) to get restraining orders.

c) avoid any racial, or gender based name-calling.

d) attacking the Tech, or LRH is fine. But saying "Only a shithead could believe this crap", especially if she is a female (and alone) could be seen as "intimidation". If your going to do it, be careful, make sure it's not going to look bad on film.

e)there must be NO destruction of Sci property. They may destroy something of their own & claim Anons are doing it, but if even ONE Anon is seen doing something, more weight will be given to Sci complaints.

f) word is already out that Officials (like the FBI) are investigating abuses by the Cult. They are trying to make that knife cut both ways. THAT is why they are spending a lot of time trying to identifying individual Anons as "leaders".

Now, I know you Guys already know this stuff. But I feel I would be remiss if I did not mention what I was told, and the "specifics".

The Cult really is scared, and cracks have formed.

Oh, yes, and I was told again " We must report anything and everything to local authorities and the FBI." No matter how trivial.

Good stuff. Be squeaky clean and report anyone breaking the law to the proper authorities.

It would be a piece of cake for a CofS operative--or a group of them--to wear V masks and film themselves throwing a brick through an org window, for instance. They could do it on a cell phone or in similar quality so the people could not be identified and upload it from a public library maybe to an anonymous YouTube account.

It is quite remarkable there hasn't been more trouble like this than there has been. Having a group whose members are anonymous cuts both ways. It is simple to infiltrate--you don't even have to talk to any "real members" of the group. It's not classic agent provocateur stuff at all.

Bear in mind that it is also perfectly safe for you to contact your local FBI office and give your name - your identity will be protected according to law. The FBI take this very seriously. If they want to get back to you, they will ask for your name and phone number, and in exchange they will give you their name and reference number. This is a good sign.

If you don't want to come forward, pass the information onto an Anonymous, who will happily forward it to the FBI with the same guarantees of anonymity!

I agree, and as the pressure on the CofS increases I think it's ever more likely that they'll try tricks like this. I remember the trouble ARS had with "hip crime" spammers at the end of the 90's when ARS got spammed to b***ery - CofS was never formally identified as the culprit, but they were the ones with the most to gain from the exercise.
