Looking at the links provided on the ars thread, it sure looks real.

Two things come to mind. One, I had forgotten all about Babbles! Secondly, if Rathbun is supporting Obama to that extent it shows he doesn't read the Internet and/or his critical thinking abilities still suck.

Politics do not belong on this board- if anything can bring about its downfall, it's "US of A" politics as currently practiced.

agreed. yet it's easy to fall prey. geez...

about the article- what i found of interest was this from the blog:

Rathbun has not publicly renounced the Corporation of Scientology, and
neither the Obama nor the McCain campaigns have mentioned his
connections to a group which has tried to infiltrate several
governments, including our own.
Please write to both campaigns and the press, this information needs
to be noticed.

i think exposing this could be a good move, not for politics sake of course.
