Default Scientology and the Left Hand Path

Written by a former Class IX, I believe (perhaps higher?), this essay was THE TURNING POINT for me, where I decided that I quite simply couldn't consider myself a scientologist any more.

I highly recommend it to people with a strong stomache for what they've been supporting.

Good article. I still think the lower part of the Bridge is great though, it's the OT levels I have doubts about.

Then you didn't do the 'Lower Levels' right

One of the primary purposes of the Lower Levels is to leave you with *no* doubts.

I've always had other perspectives than Scn. Even my C/S told me he thought I'd eventually leave Scn and go and do something else.

Maybe it's an advantage the freezone has over the CofS, they're not afraid of different points of view.

I thought that most guys masturbated with their right hand......?

Is this a comment or an origination? Let the board decide.

Only until their 'tool' becomes bent in that direction... then it's best to switch.

Now that I know what it could not do for me... I'm enjoying discovering what can.

I agree, in principle, but in application, it's a feeder system into the OT Levels, and very often quickied at the first sign that the person is feeling okay about the "processes", which is a far cry from real "VGIs".

I do think LRH intended to increase people's ability to reach and withdraw, although I think he had a disguised intention to control them and dominate them towards his purposes.

Which FreeZone have you been a part of? I've encountered VERY few minds in the FZ which are at all "open" to new ideas or viewpoints. Most are fundamentalists who simply think the Church isn't true to Ron anymore.

Probably depends on their "handedness" and whether or not they want "the stranger".

I would have to ask you: is it a comment or an origination?

More to the point, did you actually read the article?
