    Default Scientology Holidays

Hey everyone, I had a bit of a question. There's a lot of discussion going on now about what kind of theme we'd like to focus on for the December raids. It ranges from the sentimental family ties for the holiday season that the CoS tears apart...to the more humorous 100% tom cruise raid to poke fun at his silly nazi movie coming out in December. Whatever it will be, it needs to be fun and have the potential to be a huge event to draw out people.

So I'd like to know about Scientology's holidays, especially in the month of December. I know some lower level Scientologists practice other religious traditions while in the CoS, so maybe Christmas is celebrated? Does Scientology have special Christmas type traditions?

No they don't but WORK WORK WORK for the staff is always on the agenda.
I don't think very many will even get the day off.

Even the government has off. :( Maybe a "Home for the Holidays" theme would be appropriate. I'll bet there's a lot of families out there wishing they could spend the celebrations with those they lost to the CoS.

Yeah, the staff are pretty cranky around the holidays, as some of them will get approved for family leave and others won't and it's pretty depressing.

The upside would be if you can get some freeloader debts collected or some FSM commissions from higher Orgs this goes directly into salary sum and can result in a nice holiday bonus.

The button would be something like. Why are the most valuable beings on the planet not with their family for Christmas? Don't you deserve just ONE day off per year?

Home for the Holidays sounds awfully good as a theme.

Plus it'll commemorate the first posting of NOTs, which I think was Christmas Eve or Christmas.

Push the Christmas button for sure. It has got to be the absolutely most miserable day of the year for staff. Some might get it off, others not. You are supposed to get some public into the org for services. At least one PC for one session and one student, or shit hits the fan from management. So a bunch of staff have to be there. Often as not the one student that has been coerced into coming in doesn't show, the staff have nothing to do so you sit there all day ---- this is CHRISTMAS DAY, don't forget, writing those stupid fucking CF letters to mostly wrong addresses and people who really don't want to hear from you. By the end of the day ----- YES CHRISTMAS DAY you're ready to throw a fucking brick through the front window of the org, or through the skull of the fucking exec who forces this crap down your throat when you should be off with family or close friends exchanging presents and eating a turkey dinner. Then to top it all off, you're in shit because your stats are down at the end of the week.

If there is ANYTHING that make me want to pack it in on Scientology while I was in it was Christmas. Doom and Gloom fucking miserable Christmas.

So yes, push the button and push it hard. You will likely push some staff out. If they get a chance to see your signs, that is.

The "Home For The Holidays" theme will be perfect. In Clearwater, the cult goes insane with decorations, and a huge Winter Wonderland display!

Even if Anons have to have a road trip, it could be an amazing publicity stunt for Anon. It would be time now to get the permits, and make preparations!

Please feel free to share this idea on any other Board.
