But Scientologys SF awards aren't the most prestigious. In fact I have never seen advertised on a book that it had won the WOTF award.

    The awards I have seen:
The Hugo Award is the most prestigious (impression I get from reading lots of SF without having thought about awards at all). The Hugo is voted on by World Science Fiction Society (WSFS), which is fandom, which is the most avid readers.

The Nebula Award is another very respected award.

The Locus Index to Science Fiction Awards has a nice overview.. And this to say about WOTF:

That be becuz they pay the judges sum cash monies...which is one thing Hubbard squezzed out of everyone around him.........

I get really tired of hearing about how the lower bridge has value. The lower bridge has the sole purpose of getting the PC to reach for more bridge. The fact that many people improved their circumstances as a result of a good intentioned auditor being interested and caring about his PC is not worth the long term and intended result of Scientology technology.
