Default Palo Alto / Mountain View CA.

I drove by the Palo Alto mission tonight (Monday) around 8PM. It was not open. The lights were out, and there were no cars in the parking lot.

The Mountain View office on Castro St. is always closed in the days now. I haven't seen it at night.

    business must be bad

Yeah, I drive past both these places every so often.....never see em open. I wonder exactly what the deal is there.....if they are closed....why no eviction? is management still paying the bills for empty buildings just to keep up PR?

    hummmm....

Mt. View is where I used to be on lines. Was curious (mostly because I am interested in attempting to get some money back) and so just gave them a ring.

A receptionist did in fact answer, so it looks more likely they are just a foundation (evening & weekends) org now.

    Default Palo Alto Mission Downsizing

The Palo Alto mission is moving from their current two story corner building on high profile El Camino Real (if you're in LA - think Ventura Blvd.) to an out of the way quasi industrial building (converted garage perhaps) beside the railroad tracks where there is no foot traffic or drive by. The address is 150 C Grant Ave. It is near the court house and health and human services.

Maybe they can apply to be part of the Ideal Garage program.

Palo Alto Mission will have their Grand Opening at their new digs on Saturday, June 13th at 3:30 p.m.

The invite says: "The new mission is very spacious and modern and is located just a block off of California Avenue. We are pleased to offer you such an aesthetic space in which to do your Scientology and Dianetics services"
