Escorting the A-Treas aide to the Chase Bank!

    One day about 1990 I was asked to escort the A-treas Aide (Dennis Daganais) to the Chase Manhatten bank because he had a cash deposit to make.

    He got stuck in the bank filling out a bunch of paperwork because, from what he told me, if you deposit more than $10,000 in cash they think you are either dealing drugs or mafia.

    Sounds like they weren't too far off the mark there. I would assume the mafia would be the closer definition.

    Anything over $10,000 the bank has to report to the government. At least in the US.

    I don't remember but when I read your question the words "Freewinds" popped into my head and "Christmas trees."

    Not sure of the connections there but that is the flash thought I had.
