Hi everyone. I've only been a member of the Church of Scientology for a couple months. In that short time, I've noticed a lot of things that I like, and a lot of things that I don't about Scientology. A lot of it makes sense to me, and most of the people at the Org are nice. However, the more I read about Scientology, and not just the pro stuff, the more I see that things aren't as they seem, especially the OT levels, and the fact that the Bridge to Total Freedom isn't even complete, so how can I have "Total Freedom"?
My main issue is the constant asking for more money. I don't make a lot of money, and am still in college too. Yet, they want me to sign up for all these services, the Basics, Basics courses, etc. So far, I've only done the BSM, PE, STCC, Life Repair, and am midway thru HQS. I've also paid for an annual IAS membership, all the Basics books, and two lectures so far (in addition to a bunch of DVDs and classic lectures). Now I'm being asked to get all the...
It's my opinion that few who are now actively involved with Cof$ will...
This is my story of how I came to sign a billion-year contract and become exposed to blue asbestos. This account is to the best of my memory. Many years have passed; some details are as clear as they happened yesterday, many details elude me. A lot of the names I do not remember, so I appropriately only included names of anyone who has already been mentioned in Lawrence Woodcraft’s affidavit and YouTube interview.
I was a college student studying civil engineering at night at a community college, while working full-time as a draftsman at a land surveying company. I was on my own, paying my own way, and a lot was going on in life for me then. My father was dying of cancer, which put me in a state of sadness and shock. My fiancé of 3 years broke up with me, which put me in a state of exasperation and shock.
It was the summer of 1985, and along came a Dianetics book from a friend who thought it might...
I was born in 1972 near Austin Texas. At that time, both of my parents were staff at Austin Org. Right after my 3rd birthday, my mother decided to join the Sea Org. November 1975. So I was in the Sea Org environment from Nov 1975 at age 3, up until I got SP declared out in May 2004.
Obviously laws have changed from then until now. And I am sure there was plenty of law breaking in the time that I was a child in the CEO in LA.
Let's see how this thread takes off or veers into an endless pit of diversion....
There are plenty of stories of neglect of children, children being raised by slightly older children, short-staffed child care centers, all sorts of stuff. And from that, I guess they determined no children because they really did not have the facilities to deal with the neglect and lack of care. Maybe it was one of the right decisions they did make. Though this lead to the whole subject of abortions... a subject of many other threads that I will not get into right...
Today on Facebook Tory/Magoo posted on SPs ‘r’ US talking about cult child care and would we please share our stories.
I responded: “I have a story about the Cult of $’s and it’s nurseries that occurred in October 1987 at SNC where I was personally involved and the case went to court. I haven’t posted much more than my introduction on ESMB but this story has been often on my mind to add to ‘My story from inside $cientology’. I’m going to work on that now; have pulled all the old legal paperwork out of its file. This story also includes the story of my escape where the day I escaped turned into four years of escaping and 9 years in hiding. Thanks for the nudge Tory. I’ve been needing to tell this story for 27 years.”
Thanks again Tory/Magoo. Here we go…
Preface: I no longer speak cult speak and couldn’t care any less about the org board and don’t care to try to remember who and what everything was in cult speak. I admire those on the board who seem to have steel trap...

Tony Ortega's Blog - Jillian Schlesinger, who blew the cult 3 weeks ago gives a scathing interview with Karen. A slew of Sea Org members recently blew and we look forward to them speaking out! Welcome Ex Sea Org members! It is time the IRS revokes the TAX EXEMPT status from the cult of Scientology! What do we need to do now to get this to a DONE?
Hey there. I need help getting out of Scientology. I have been on staff for over 4 years but I can't take it anymore. I've been lied to four times regarding the schedule I was on, and it got so bad that when I was 16 they made me work there full time over the summer. I asked if that was okay for them to do that and apparently it was, but I never agreed to be there full time. Then I got lied to again when I asked to help with someone and covering their schedule, getting told it was only going to be 2 months. Those two months turned into 9 months. Now they're making me change my schedule again, and it got so bad that two of them came over and I got bullied into saying yes to this schedule. I've been miserable the last three weeks, and I've been super fucking depressed and sick of it. Nobody has asked me how I'm doing, and it's ruining my life. My boyfriend and I are both sick of it, and half the time I feel like crying. I want to get out, but there is another thing that...
Every now and then, a person on lines went type III in our org. It was way too many for what I thought was the "only workable tech" on the planet. Excuses were made of course, and it was hushed up among the staff.
I am curious if this happened at other orgs and how frequently it occurred. I thought it happened only in our org and the auditor was poorly trained. S/he seemed to have a lot of pcs that went crazy. But because of the lack of trained tech terminals, s/he was quickly "repaired" and put back in the auditors chair.
OR is it simply the tech that makes someone spin in? Auditors do not need to be certified by law to give the general public mental therapy and I feel that is dangerous. Even a CPA has to be certified by law to do your business accounting, a painter, or contractor needs to obtain a license to service the general public.
Leah Remini is shooting a TV series about Scientology.
The following excerpt is very deliberately a teaser so you will be enticed to read the entire original story.
Tony Ortega: Leah Remini is shooting a TV series about Scientology

But what’s especially exciting for Scientology watchers is that the same network is also developing another series, also about the way Scientology rips apart families, and this one is being produced by former Scientology celebrity Leah Remini. We broke the news in 2013 that Leah ditched Scientology, which she had grown up in. The King of Queens actress came out with a bestselling memoir last November,...
From Hollywood Reporter, published a few hours ago:
He does a video, called "Intro" without any additional commentary, and allows no comments on his blog or YouTube.
It is clear that he has capitulated. We have no idea who he is talking to, but certainly it looks well produced. I leave it to the viewer to speculate who is behind it.
