Apparently, even with all of his millions in net worth and donations, he never reached the OT levels.....
Why any member of any religion is active in it calls for application of the adage "look, don't listen."
For instance, among people professing Christian belief:
- would Jimmy Swaggart have gone around taking donations of the righteous and hiring hookers with it if he really believed what he preaches about Jesus?
- would Jim Bakker have gone around taking donations of the righteous under fraudulent claims about the purpose of asking and then use it for a lavish lifestyle if he really believed what he preaches about Jesus?
- would a number of Popes and Cardinals have kept their own personal brothels and produced copious quantities of bastards in them if they really believed what they preached about Jesus?
Scientologists I've met, including high ranking officials, have stated in my hearing that OT levels don't seem to show much real value. To them that wasn't why they were sticking with Scientology and not a reason to jettison Scientology either.
"Look, don't listen."
