Contrary to Palin advisor John Coale's statements, Scientology PACs exist

From an ANONYMOUS press release:

Sarah Palin's Political Action Committee (PAC) advisor John Coale recently denied that a political action committee was formed to further the aims of Scientology,[1] but the planned committee indeed exists under the names Citizens for Social Reform (CSRPAC)[2] and Florida Citizens for Social Reform (FCSR)[3]. Is Sarah PAC being used by Coale?

Celebrity website Gawker recently revealed documents showing that John Coale had helped formulate a plan for how Scientology could "be at cause" (in control) over humanity by forming a political action committee with plausible deniability.[1]

The plan for "FLAGG PAC" says one of the main objectives "which we have been working towards is to create a group which could be easily identified by Scientologists without involving any blatantly Scientology terms". The goal was a PAC "which forwards the aims of Scientology and which can create power".[1]

The document encourages Scientologists to use all available "comm terminals" (contacts) including media and legal connections to gain access to politicians. John Coale is husband of Fox News personality Greta van Susteren, and a Scientologist. And now he is reported to be central in the Sarah Palin Political Action Committee.
[4]

When asked by Gawker, John Coale downplayed FLAGG PAC and said "it never went anywhere" and "Maybe 9 or 10 people showed up" to the launch meeting. Yet the PAC was eventually started after all, and on closer reading more than 10 people showed up to the launch meetings.

Coale is here speaking exclusively about the meeting in Washington DC, but omits the launch meeting in the Crystal Ballroom at the Fort Harrison Hotel in Clearwater, Florida; this hotel is Scientology's Flag Land Base. More than ten people would show up there.

And although the name "FLAGG PAC" was not used, Scientology started Citizens for Social Reform (CSRPAC) and Florida Citizens for Social Reform (FCSR) based on the FLAGG PAC plan.

FLAGG PAC was planned in 1986. John Coale is now reported to be central to the campaign of potential presidential front-runner Sarah Palin. This shows a 23-year conscious effort by Coale to court and use politicians for a "substantive power base" for Scientology.[1]

Absurdly, in view of Scientology's plans for the "global obliteration of psychiatry",[5] he also serves on the Maryland Medical System board.[6]

Greta and John, Hilary and Bill ... and John Travolta
Author and filmmaker, Geoffrey Dunn, writing for Huffington Post, has investigated the Scientology connections in some depth and has made these interesting observations.

Coale was a major contributor to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, and then abruptly switched sides when Hillary was denied the nomination. There is an interesting notation in the FEC documents of a "negative" contribution, or withdrawal, from Clinton's campaign on August 28, 2008--the same date that Obama made his historic acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention. The following day, Palin was named as John McCain's running mate. From that point on, Coale dumped nearly $60,000 into the McCain-Palin campaign and the Republican National Committee, including a last-hour donation on New Year's Eve of $26,200 to the RNC. In respect to Hillary Clinton, not only did he contribute thousands of dollars to her ill-fated presidential run, he also contributed thousands to her 2000 race for the U.S. Senate.

It is a fair question to ask how a person can suddenly switch from the Left to the Far Right in a matter of a day. What was it about Hilary that attracted him so much that, when it was clear she would not be president, he was ready to switch completely his political allegiance and party?

After all, most people would agree that, besides being women, Hilary and Sarah have very little in common. And that was the way it was portrayed, that it revolved about feminism and putting women in power. Never mind that Palin was running as vice-president, not president.

THE *CHURCH* set out to improve its image with politicians and the population at large by undertaking a major public relations effort in the nation's capitol. As part of this public relations effort, a Scientology affiliate in Los Angeles was paying "almost $725,000 to a Washington-based firm [Federal Legislative Associates] to lobby Congress in 1997 and 1996"

Monied interests prefer power over ideology. Hence corporations give to all sides in a campaign, although they give principally to those whom they consider most likely to win even over support for their own preferred ideology. They will even support those who are ideologically opposed to their interests if they are perceived to be non-hostile and amenable to favorable negotiations.

Hillary was early on considered to be a likely winner and open to compromise with corporate interests. When she lost in the primary then other options became more attractive. Obama as a comparative unknown with little national political history wasn't widely seen to be a 'good investment' for large financial interests.

Simple 'math'.

Miscavige continues Hubbard's plan for taking over "political guidance."

The New York Times is a useful source of information re. Scientology's efforts to establish political influence, with articles, which began in the 1990s, about Scientology and the Clintons, John Travolta, etc.

As an aside, here are some LRH references that may be helpful. There's much more. This is a small sampling.

L. Ron Hubbard's earliest known statement regarding psychiatry occurred shortly after the writing of 'Excalibur' in 1938, in his "Excalibur' letter to his first wife, Polly:

"Psychiatrists, reaching the high of the dusty desk, tell us that Alexander, Genghis Khan and Napoleon were madmen. I know they're maligning some very intelligent gentlemen..."

In 1966, Hubbard announced his confidential plan - called 'Project Psychiatry':

"This is Project Psychiatry. We will remove them."

In LRH Executive letter of 24 November 1968, Hubbard asserted his plan to take over both "mental healing" and "political guidance." The implication is that, since, according to Hubbard, psychiatrists, essentially, run the world, by taking over psychiatry one becomes the new boss of the world:

"We're going to take over the field of mental hospitals and political guidance and the whole field of mental healing."

Then, from 'Confidential Intelligence Actions - Covert Intelligence Data Collection' of 2 December 1969:

"Our total victory wil come when we run his organizations, perform his functions, and obtain his financing and appropriations."

Here are some excerpts from the 1976 edition of the 'Red Volumes'. It's an HCOB from January 1974. Quoted material in red.

THE TECHNICAL BREAKTHROUGH OF 1973!
THE INTROSPECTION RD

I have made a technical breakthrough which possibly ranks with the major discoveries of the twentieth century. It is certainly the greatest achievement of 1973 and is now being released after a final write-up of the research. It is called the Introspection Rundown.

....

THIS MEANS THE LAST REASON TO HAVE PSYCHIATRY AROUND IS GONE.

[Then there are the steps of the RD, and the HCOB ends with...]

THIS PLANET IS OURS.

HCO BULLETIN OF 26 AUGUST 1982

PAIN AND SEX
[This complete HCOB can be located easily for those curious. The gist of it - and other related HCOBs - is that ancient whole track psychiatrists are responsible for just about everything bad in the universe, including - per this HCOB - Pain and Sex.]

Despite the false data of Freud, psychologists, psychiatrists and other criminals...

As any veteran Scientologist knows, Hubbard has stated that Scientology already owns the planet Earth, and it's just a matter of following his instructions for that ownership to be successfully established for the not yet aware "wogs."

In other words, Scientology has been nuts for a long time.

Christmas week in Karen de la Carriere's home, in Los Angeles. What a pleasure!

Visiting my old haunts (not the engrams, just the pleasure moments).

Thank you Karen, your kindness is exactly what the movement has lost.

A few OSA people, not Kirsten, still remember TWTH a little bit. Will do a debrief of my fail at getting into the New Year's eve event.
