Here's the letter from Travolta's attorney, Marty Singer, to Gawker Media (5 pages). Singer repeatedly calls attention to the author's claims that he endured permanent brain damage as a result of a physical assault on him at City Spa and that he had to "re-learn to use" his brain, and that a person who had to re-learn to use his brain couldn't remember incidents prior to the attack.

He also states that the author tried to sell the content of his book to the National Enquirer in 2004 and they turned him down:
