Newbies can start threads.

Instructions:
Go into the section where you think your post fits best. You will see a button at the top that says "Post New Thread", which looks just like the "Reply to Thread" button except for the wording. Click it and you will get an editing window.

Don't worry if you start your thread in one section and it's moved elsewhere by a moderator; you have not done anything wrong - we're just trying to keep the board organized.

Some of the things in that post from 2011 may have changed.
