The OSA document (below) was sent to us by one of our correspondents. In order to check it’s authenticity, we sent it to Mike Rinder who confirmed that the actions look like typical OSA activities.

As a comparison, Mike referred us to Marty’s blog containing similar OSA programs – one pgm was to “handle” Chuck Beatty which included getting Chuck and his sister signed up to receive “kinky” sex materials and literature – you can read that article here.

The pgm below was drawn up to “handle” the freezone in Russia. Max Hauri is mentioned by name. (Max is the chairman of STSS - a letter from him regarding copyright issues was featured in our last article).


Of particular note:

This program was issued in February 2007. It patently had little to no effect because not only did the Freezone continue expanding, but in 2010 Max published the stss.nl website containing all LRH materials.

The use of the word “resources” under past successful actions means PI’s or other investigative professionals. This is the OSA euphemism for such. These could also be public seconded for such activities.

They say successful actions have included “generating threats” about copyright. Note there is no mention to actually sue.
​

They acknowledge the tactic of spreading defeatism and disaffection on the squirrel news sites – this is what we commonly refer to as “OSA Trolls” appearing on blogs and other sites masquerading as disaffected ex-Scios with the intention of causing upsets and resulting in in-fighting and attacks on other bloggers.

Although they say not to do anything outside of the law, this is swiftly violated by suggesting “Predict the venues of any future squirrel events and suitably enlightening the proprietors of these establishments to get them to refuse to house the squirrels’ events because it is just too much hassle (including, possibly, causing authorities to look too closely in their direction)”. It is a clear acknowledgement that they will resort to slander, libel & threats to achieve their product. This is clearly illegal.

Note the tactic of infiltrating group/s with placing “resources” into groups to get information – this is tantamount to industrial espionage & contravention of the newly promulgated POPI Act in South Afriica – it is a criminal offence to collect or distribute to a 3rd party any personal information without authority of the person – contravention of this law is subject to a fine and/or prison sentence.​

The mention of “by bright and legitimate means gather the identities and addresses of the members of the Freezone groups”. Again, this contravenes the Protection of Personal Information Act. Anyone found in possession of such data without authority of the person/s so named will have committed a criminal offense and will have a lot of explaining to do about how they came into possession of the data.

This is a lengthy read, but if you’re an Independent Scientologist, part of an Indy group, involved in or commenting on blogs and other activities involved in exposing the RCS, this data is of value and worth knowing. The quote below explains why:

INFORMATION:

During the second half of 2006, 5 Freezone (FZ) delivery activities closed down in Russia. Still, these handlings are moving too slow. There are another 15 groups that are part of the CIS Freezone network. There are also four groups in the Ukraine and one each in Moldova and Belarus. The squirrels violate our marks and copyrights and they must be handled NOW.

There are connections between CIS squirrel activities and the Western EU groups in Bern, Frankfurt and Munich. The Swiss squirrels operate as OLs for the Russian ones. The Swiss ringleader has organized “training camps” in Russia. It was also learned that the key FZ members in Switzerland and Germany have “solved” their shortage of delivery materials by concentrating the lower level training materials on a Russia-based server which they access through a secret password they share.

PAST EFFECTIVE ACTIONS:

By analysis, the following actions have proven successful to deal with squirrels in CIS over the last couple of years:

Using resources to gain insight and prediction

Using the insight to discover out legal ruds and getting authorities to act

Generating threats of copyright infringement action

Spreading defeatism and disaffection on the squirrel news sites

Creating 3P between Russian group leaders and the Swiss ringleader.

Labeling the FZ an OPC intell operation

Locating crimes of the squirrels’ top strata (e.g. tax evasion) and causing complaints to be filed and official action to be taken.

PROGRAM PURPOSE:

TO TERMINATEDLY HANDLE THE FREEZONE IN RUSSIA AND CIS AS A SOURCE OF BLACK PR ON SCIENTOLOGY AND AS A TRAVESTY OF STANDARD TECH THAT RUINS PEOPLE’S SPIRITUAL FUTURE.

They will have no problem with that because the documents is dated 2007, and Hubbard passed away decades earlier.

I suspect they might have a problem with any attempt to assert that the document and actions stated therein were consistent with what Hubbard did, prescribed and commanded. One suspects they will discuss the document without doing that -- i.e., in a historical vacuum.

The OSA operation seems contradictory and should ask themselves;

Why would OSA worry about “squirrels”, is the CoS really being attached by them?

Why would OSA worry about these groups if they are “squirrel’s” as their “altered” tech delivery would cause their own failure?

Why would OSA not just promote the LRH “original” tech in that area and out deliver with superior tech delivery that causes a win-win of expansion and highest standards?

Why doesn’t OSA investigate why after so my OPs things don’t improve for them?

Why can’t OSA maintain secret their own secrets?

The "Don't break the law" line is similar to the "Don't tell lies in PR" line.

Both have footnotes attached to them.

"Get clearance" means - especially for low level personnel - get an OK to do something outside the law, or against the law, before doing so.

And, most importantly, don't get caught!

But if you do get caught, we'll show any concerned parties the "policy" on "Obeying the law," etc.

I actually give a bit of thought to my subject titles. I write them for Google search. For example, you will find that I as often as possible put the word "Scientology" in the title, which greatly helps re: Google. I also try to avoid Scientologese and Scientology acronyms for the same reason. For example, I will substitute "Church" for "Org." I will, if there is room, type out "Advanced Organization Los Angeles" in place of AOLA again for the purpose of Google indexing.

I also write my subject titles to be understandable by raw public who don't know Scientologese or Scientology acronyms. Thus, I will substitute "Church" for "Org," type out "Advanced Organization Los Angeles" in place of AOLA, etc. -- because I am trying to reach through Google and inform raw public who have no familiarity with Scientologese, Scientology acronyms, etc.

For such raw public, "AOLA" alone is meaningless, whereas "Church of Scientology Advanced Organization Los Angeles" might be at least minimally understandable. A subject title referring to something that happened at "LA Org" is meaningless to raw public, whereas a subject title referring to something that happened at "The Church of Scientology Los Angeles" is very understandable.

In other words, I really don't write my subject titles for you. I figure that anyone who understands and is interested in a post title referring to "LA Org" will also understand and be interested in a post title referring to "The Church of Scientology Los Angeles," whereas in the case of raw public the reverse may not be true.

So, no, you won't see "short (four or five or six word) titles" avoiding the use of the word Scientology, using acronyms, using Scientology words, etc. from me anytime soon (i.e., never).

Also, if you read ESMB on an iPad, the title truncates after maybe 35 characters (using my average font settings). It doesn't wrap over to a second line, it truncates. 35 characters is enough for most titles, but convoluted ones no.

PS, Also, when posting something about a heavily consored site - in this case, blog - wouldn't it make sense to use a title that could be recognized by the readers of that blog, in the event that they wander over to ESMB?

"Church of Scientology Office of..." doesn't really say anything.

You can have it both ways: A title - in the small space allotted - that actually announces what the thread is about, and key words - in the text - that will be useful when doing a search on Google.

And this is not only directed at you, but at everyone who writes long rambling titles that convey little or no information because of the automatic imposed space limitation of this MB.

Aleister Crowley may have been a serious student of the 'occult', but the more I think about it the more I realise he just took great delight in scandalising people. IMO he was a massive troll. Did anyone see him kill this cat Arnie? He probably said he killed it just for effect, just like he did a thousand and one other things that earned him the title of 'The Wickedest Man in the World'.
