Hubbard mentioned TIME to be a basic aberration. Take a look at survive from that point of view.
It was good to start out with the postulate of "survive" in Dianetics, but very soon it became questionable in Scientology.
The ultimate freedom is the freedom to create as well as the freedom to destroy. Anything irreversible traps one.
One should be able to create persistance in order to have a game. But one should also be able to dissolve that persistance in order to do away with games.
Time is just one of the toys to play with. To make Time one's master is the ultimate in self-degradation.
There are promises made to OT-wanna-bees of successes in the MEST universe. It is Time that lies as aberration under those promises.
What is OT really? It is pure spirit. It is not being tied to MEST.
Survival is a MEST thing.
