Narconon PSA alert!

Okay, folks, it's time to start contacting your local radio and TV stations again, and warning them about Narconon PSAs (Public Service Announcements).

A friend in the San Francisco area contacted me to report seeing a Narconon ad on late-night TV last week. Interestingly, the word "Narconon" never apeared on screen, and was only mentioned briefly near the end of the 30 second spot. The name they were emphasizing was "stop-addiction.org", which is one of the 150 domain names Narconon uses to flood the web with advertising for its services.

If you see a Narconon ad on TV, or hear one one the radio, write down the date, the time, and the station. Then, contact the station management and ask them NOT to run free PSAs for Narconon because they're a scam and a front group for the Scientology cult. Refer them to Stop-Narconon.org for more information, or just tell them to Google "Narconon". And remind them that Narconon is *not* affiliated in any way with Narcotics Anonymous.

Let's keep these swindlers from getting free air time. In most cases, it only takes one phone call to get their ads pulled. Unfortunately, Narconon will keep trying, so we have to be vigilant and keep educating the stations. Post here if you spot an ad.

Narconon Melbourne advertise on VEGA FM.

I called them to complain about it but there was nothing they would do about it as it was a paid spot.
