Roger Boswarva explains observations and discoveries he and Alan Walter have made concerning the emotional tone scale and relationships between cause and effect. This speech was made at the 2009 Free Zone Conference held in Pasadena California on 3 Oct 2009.

Ah, you Anony-onnies are too much fun! :p

I dunno how to do it, but when I changed my avatar to the cigar thing it was because of Emma's comment about her cigarette "attitude" of which she says it means: "Up yours OSA!"

So I tried to add my new avatar with the comment: "Up yours OSA, lighted end first!" :eyeroll:

    But I failed miserably :bigcry:

On the one with the Vids here it is on ESMB . . it is better because there are revised charts and scales for clear visibility and I define those Ozzie pronunciations of things like "Creaks" . . .
This is the tech write up concerning our Pasadena presentation.

To be honest, Rey Robless and Trey Lotz and the lot put me to sleep and I did watch tall their clips like yours. It was torment and agony, but your presentation is liveley and animated, and after 5 years exposere to scientology terms I can actually understand you and Australian slang was never a problem for me roger because of TV-tech. I watched a lot of movies as a kid to the displeasure of my parents. They had to kick me outside to play.

Actually I understand your lecture rewatching it better than 4 years ago.

Well, AnonKat, I've done some thousands of hours of lectures and presentations . . . and the trick is: don't do TR's! :duh: Too many Scienos don't actually engage with their audience: they present a no-effect TR machine instead. :melodramatic::ohmy:

I like working with my audience. They can be a lot of fun . . . and if you really want them to get what you're saying you had better pay real attention to them and acknowledge their changes and cognitions and participation.

Here's a presentation workshop I did with Sweet Virginia earlier this year . . . you'll note we had a lot of fun!

This is an unedited video, straight from the camcorder. It starts out a bit weird because, having no cameraman, I had to set the thing in motion then run up front to get onto the action :eyeroll:

I recognized the TR's as Pavlov style conditioning from the start. You get a reward And they fucking do it to their kids too. Somewhere in child dianetics it states that your Kid OWES you and you can let him WORK for you to pay his debt and alsoo that you should train your kid like a DOG. "Thank you" like a dog gets a pat or bisquit "Touch this and touch that"

Oh Roger working with the audience reminds me of David Mayo.

Thanks for posting these, they're interesting and very informative. With a name like Boswarva, I'm wondering if Roger has Cornish ancestry? I live there (Cornwall).

Cats' . . . you are very wise. There is a little location down on the peninsula of Cornwall actually named Boswarva . . . there is also Boswarva Carn which it the highest peak on the "mountains" there.

It actually means: "high dwelling" in ancient Celtic . . . you get a lot of Bos thingies in the British isles . . . Boscannie, Boscastle, Boswell, etc. Bos means "high" . . .

I've traced my lineage back to there . . . a great grand dad's family (or earlier) owned the flour mills around in the neighboring area and counties.

I did visit the area when I was in England . . . was interesting to meet the locals when they learned I was a "Boswarva"

Roger, I just learned a lot about you I did not know!

    Thanks for this thread, AK.

Not to mention that hilariously offensive Monty Python clip.

Yeh, that Monty Python is so funny, so good I couldn't figure out whether they were true blue Ozzies doing the skit or Pomms doing a take-off.

Though the give away for me was when I listened carefully and heard that the ending of every statement didn't quite end with the rise of a question in the way that only a true blue Oz can

Well, why wouldn't we question you every time we make a statement . . . we wanta know you bloody got it, right?

Thanks for this thread, Roger. You put a lot of sanity into this and untangled a lot of crap.

    Plus you're just pretty smart.
