I was at ASHO on the BC and doing my OT preps between 1997 and 2000.
Here's me experiencing spiritual ecstasy while doing so:

I know what you mean. I was there too. I helped on setting up the shots for pictures in course rooms; This is weird isn't it ? Many course rooms were emptied so we had to wait lunch time, buy food so the public could stay for a course room shot during lunch time. We would get all the public from the differents course rooms to be able to fill one up. Then the picture would look great with all those people and it would appear in the Auditor Magazine but of course, it was not true. The course room were pratically all the time empty during the period I was there.
So what are you looking it ? The light ? a beautiful girl sitting across from you ? or being happy because this is the end of course time.

It was 7:30pm in an abandoned courseroom being used as the course admin room for supervisors.
The photographer was in front of me and Dick Orchurch and Bill Skrivars were to my side. They had come in to watch and make fun of me while I mocked up religious ecstasy while listening to an LRH tape.
It was actually very funny, in a non-J&D kind of way.

Funny. I like Dick and Bill. Great guys. So you were at ASHO Day or ASHO F if it was done at 7:30 p.m. Well it looked like you were in a course room. Was the photographer, janet bertinot, a bit too much overweight ? If so she is out of the Sea Org now. She is on facebook with her husband William Bertinot. They are not declared but Bill was sent to the RPF. He did not make it it looks like. Good for him. He should have never gone there. Some people wanted him there but he was doing fine on post.

Yes I think it was in one of the mag. I read it once I think. The mag cover everything on the SHSBC and how people are changing lives being a Class VI auditor. Well not many are being made. Yes they are completing the level of the BC but not many are completing the entire BC. Correct me if I am wrong Alanzo but it was in the mag isn't it ?

It is where I hit the wall at Warp speed. I was there to get auditing in 99 and hit the skids then but was booted from there in about 2001.

Yes. I didn't want to mention it, of course.
I don't like to call too much attention to myself. But I did grace one of the inner pages of "The Auditor" once.
People still approach me on the street, point at me and say, "Hey! You're that guy!".
I say, "Yes. I am that guy."
Then we walk on past each other, pretending it never happened.

About how many students were on the BC at ASHO (actual bodies in chairs) when you were there? Just curious.

15 to 40, or so, were actively on course with me.
Out of the 9 million Scientologists in the world at that time, we were a very select group.
We were the Dukes of the Auditor Elite, in fact.
Now that I think about it, though, there were also people on the Golden Age of Tech Ethics Specialist Course, and even a few OEC Vol students, too, regularly studying in the same course room.
No one was actually auditing anybody. We were doing a lot of demonstrating with demo kits and writing "practical" essays - per the checksheet.
We used our whole bodies as weapons.

Wow. 15-40 is very few compared to the ASHO BC in the 70s.
Interesting that you say that even a few of those were not really on the BC but just in the same course room doing other courses.

Well we may have pass by each other then. I was there at that time too.
As regard to the course room, someone had the greatest idea ??? you move the academy level course room to one part of the BC theory on the second floor and the practical on the same floor too. Then you had course room which seem to be pretty full. In fact the BC was empty. Then came out new checksheets and APPARENTLY there was some arbitraries and you did not need to deliver 100 of hours of auditing on the BC level 0 and P. Then you see the picture I think ? Student would arrive on the internship and they were as good as people who had finished their Class IV !!! In fact a bit better but not how it should have been. There was promotion being done on the fact that the BC doesn't take much time to do. Well not true. Some of them had to retread some of the level because they were so bad with their auditing. This must be still happening.
