The survey is about why people leave cults and spiritual groups, and what is helpful to them after they do leave, and it's for my dissertation research, which focuses on trying to find more effective methods to help people leaving such groups. I spent over 20 years in an Eastern-based cult, and want to help others going through that difficult transition out.
