Ron The Music Maker....
I have often wondered, just how bad, exactly, would Ron's album have to be for a loyal Scientologist listening to it would suddenly stand up and scream:
"Wait a minute! Wait a minute! Are you fucking kidding me?!!! Turn this shit off!!! What the fuck?!! Are you fucking kidding me?!!! Tell me this is a fucking joke! Somebody tell me I am getting punked! You gotta be out of your fucking mind, are you trying to tell me this fucking shit is for real?!Get the fuck out of here, this is the worst shit I have ever heard. Declare my ass right now cuz I'm outta here, I can't listen to this shit any more!"
Ooooh, if anyone has TimeTravel tech, please advise. I really want to go back and do that!
It has nothing to do with "how bad it would have to be". Some of them were THAT BAD! Some of what you observed as a member is/was THAT BAD! You simply had learned how to suppress and silence those observations and thoughts, so that you could continue to believe the Scientology myth and inherent illusions.
People don't stand up and shout it out, because they are all suffering from some version or degree of "cognitive dissonance", AND card-carrying Scios have ALL learned how to
interiorize the external control. The Scio member constantly self-monitors and self-adjusts ones own behavior along very strictly defined lines. It is a
natural process that quickly evolves due to being involved with the sham/scam.
Ah, the subtleties of the psychological control involved within the framework of the Scientology experience!
An entire book could probably be written just on this aspect of how any person
interiorizes the external control while involved in and with the Church of Scientology. Simply, one learns very quickly NOT to
rock the boat or
upset the apple cart when involved with the C of S. Otherwise, you quickly find yourself OUT. The same phenomena can be observed in all highly oppressive and controlling environments, whether that be some communist, fascist or fanatical religious group.
