For those who used to do services here in LA, here is a bit of a flash
from the past. A walk down memory lane.....from 1969 on up to
L. Ron Hubbard Way.

Hope you enjoy it! :omg:

Please add any old memories you have to this.

PS: Part of this I get *super* sad, and I realized later a lot of that had
to do not only with all the hope we all had then, as a group, but also
ALL the people I had loved, then, who are now d e a d, as well as
the 7 young Scios I know who took their own lives, whose parents
were just getting together back then.

I know I shouldn't have to say "I'm sorry" but I do feel odd with that melt
down. I left it in, as I thought people should see that side, too.

You know I had always wondered about those old buildings. You and Casper do great videos. I'd love to tag along sometime.

PS: I am the person who gave you the bracelet last global protest and I can't wait for the next one.

OMG - The mirror man! Yep.

Hey, Tory, you didn't include the old Narconon Int & Axioms building on 9th street (where I met you). (What the heck was "Axioms" anyways?)

What a great tour! The Western Exterminator building housed ASHO's letter Reg area for a while - 1976, perhaps '75 as well. And CC had an interim move - from 8th Street up to around where the Magic Castle is, I think the name was Inverness Street. They weren't there very long, though.

AlexM: Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOO much for that wonderful bracelet!
I ***love*** it:happydance:

Yes, sure you can come along. Just let me know when and we'll try to work it out, ok?

Happy Girl: I met you at Narconon and Axioms? Jeeesh...I cannot even remember where that was. You'll have to show me, or tell me. 9th St?
Hm.....I think Axioms was like the original Golden Era? Hell, I'm not sure
myself  :roflmao: Tooo funny. Old days, old days......

Glad you enjoyed it!

Finally Me----great.

I'm trying to find some people who used to be "in", who are here in LA,
to do a second tour, with memories they have from that time.
I figure we could even have 2-3 people driving around:
It would be a blast :roflmao: :dance3:

Let me know if you're up for it!

Best to all

Oh yeah, Axioms might have been the precursor for Golden Era. Does the below jar your memory?
…I bet Tory Magoo can easily figure it out. I was the ONLY girl on staff at, um, well at the place staffed with draft dodgers and ex-cons, where she was wont to come floating in wearing flowered dresses and gardenia perfume.

To which you responded:

Happy Girl..........

Is it you? Is it?? Oh my Gawd!! I pray it is. I seriously pray it is you….

Was it me? The two flower children in the place (the only girls!!)

:duh: I'm lost..........you'll have to call me.

What was I doing at Narconon? I never did their program.....so fill me in.

I was wearing Flowery clothes and gardenia, but fill me in, please.

Anyone else know what Axioms was, for sure? I think it was the original
music deal for Hubbard.

Also, Delta Meter was somewhere around there, too, the *original* meter
making place, :point: which Arnie worked at, and I, too, briefly.

Happy Tuesday!

It's really sad to me that I lived in Hollywood for basically 25 years and do not know my way around at all. 101 Freeway - yeah, never drove in LA! Wow.

Axioms was a band. Sorry I don't remember much more about it, because I was a child when they were around.

I was living at the Melrose building when most of the orgs were downtown. I don't remember the downtown buildings, maybe because they did not bring the kids down there.

I think they moved to the complex building around 77 or 78. I was 5 or 6 then.

I remember going down to that park though. (by Langers?) I was so young though!

Never been to that Celebrity Centre! Funny! Is it a fruit stand?

--------

I ran out of time! I will have to watch the rest later.

But a note:

Did you know the Fifield Manor history?

There was a film pioneer named Thomas Ince who was accidentally shot and killed my the mob. They approached his wife to apologize and they built her the Manor/CC. It also came with huge orange groves - it was a lot of land at that time.

Scn bought it for about 2 million I think. And spent 2 - 3 million to remodel in 91 and 92. Last appraisal I know of for it (early 90's after restoration) was 52 million dollars). Probably more now.

I remember the Running Program AND the Sweat Program. :dance3:

I never did either, but sure heard about them. Care to add some

detail about either or both? I hope so~!

My best,

-Tory,

Good to talk to you on Skype also. I will keep in touch with you for sure. Generally the weekends are good days and I'd love to come out with you and Casper on a drive about some time for sure. I can be added security, if you need it.

I loved your video. Do not be upset for crying. I would feel the same way, so young, so innocent, so gulable and so used by the cult. That's no laughing matter and like I said I feel your sadness.

It is so interesting how Scientology moves into an area, populates, uses its resourses, populates then when its done moves onto another area and trys to populate some more with no talk or acknowledgement on the previous buildings or areas. This kind of reminds me of a virus.

I will give you a call next week.

Have a great Easter Tory!
